Firey's POV

When I enter the house, I see leafy with pin on the couch, leafy had tears streaming down her eyes, looked exausted but also her face had made a fake smile. She wiped away her tears quickly because she didn't want me to see it even though I already did.

"F-Firey! I didn't know you were coming over..."

"You ok? You look exausted..."

"Oh no! I'm fine! Just hanging out with Pin for a while!"

She keeps that fake smile on her face. I tell Pin if I could talk to her privately. She says it fine and says she was going to Coiny's anyway. As she leaves Leafy turns on her music player and sits on the couch looking sad, and exausted. I go over to her and she puts a blanket over herself, not wanting me to look at her tears. I take of the blanket and pause her music.

"F-Firey, you don't have to stay you know? You probably have other things to do that your busy with..."

"Leafy..."

"And maybe while you leave why don't you visit Pencil? She might like that your there with he-"

"Leafy."

I turn to her and she turns to me, still crying tears down her face.

"Leafy, there is no way I'm leaving this house until you tell me why your crying."

She looks at me, thinking if she should tell me, she finally decides to tell me why.

Leafy's POV

Firey looks at me, wanting the real answer to why I was crying. I sigh and tell him why. After I told him everything, his face was in shock, I knew I should've told him.

"Y-your think I still like pencil?" He answers with a confused face.

"Ye-yeah, besides, I don't even know why you would choose me instead of her. It doesn't make sense..."

"It does, Leafy, I never wanted to be with pencil, she never was that special to me, after how she acted to everyone, especially you, it hurt. I broke up with her because she wasn't like you. You were different. You always had that same positive smile. You were kind to others even though they didn't back, and most of all, you always looked so beautiful, and pretty. You have such a soft sweet voice when you talk. It was always so comforting and sweet like you."

As I heard those words come out of his mouth, I start to cry. Cry tears of joy on my face. I give him a smile, a real one this time, and hug him as I keep crying. He put his arms around me and hugged me as well. I was feeling much better now he was here. Nobody in my life has ever said that to me in years, and he was the only person who actually cared about me. Me and him stop hugging each other and look at each other, he holds my hand and I scratch the back of my head. He looks at me and says,

"Hey leafy?"

"Ye-yeah?"

"Can I do this?"

"Do what?"

He then kisses me on the lips, I then kiss him back as well. As we kissed we then hold hands, we then gave each other a hug, he was so warm. I blushed so hard I covered my face.

"It's ok! You don't have to be embarrassed!" He says in a sweet voice.

I look at him and then he tells me,

"Do...do you want to go to prom with me Leafy?"

I blush as he said that, I never got asked to prom before. I hugged him and said,

"Yes..."
