Thunder: Kiri x Reader

(You two are young adults)

Third person

You and Kiri had been friends for years now.
And were just starting a relationship, like, boyfriend girlfriend one.
And he knew a lot of things about you, and you him. And one of them was, you hated thunderstorms.
It was one of your worse fears, other than clowns, the dark, under your bed, and other things.
And you were embarrassed by this fact.
But, he never judged you for it, or your other fears. You had a lot.
He found it kinda, cute.

Today, more like night, you and Kiri were watching a horror movie, you added basements to you list of fears that night.

You were stiff while watching the horror movie, and you had a fluffy blanket around you. But you were still shivering.

"Are you ok?" Kiri asked halfway through the movie.
You lied by nodding your head.
"Ok" he said.

You two were close, like, physically.

It started to rain, it was cloudy all day.

Then there was a flash...

Boom

You yelped and hid under your blanket.

"Crap" Kiri said "lights are out"
Great, first thunderstorm, now the lights?

You apartment had bad electricity.

"Are you ok?" he asked.
He couldn't see it, but you nodded you head.
"I'm going to get flashlights" he said, then you heard the patting of his feet in your apartment.

You started to hum a lullaby to yourself, but was interrupted.

Boom

You didn't see it, but the flash was there 3 seconds before.

You heard the patting of feet.

Your mind thought "oh great, the k!ller was after me now"

"Hey, I got flashlights" you heard the comforting voice of none other than Best boy.

"Ok... thank you" you said still stiff.

This kind of situation had happened multiple times before.

You're very paranoid of the "what if's"
But none of them ever happened to you.

"Remember, it's just angels playing bowling" he said, he always said that.
"I know... but they could be quieter" you said under the fluffy blanket.
He chuckled. "I know" you could hear his smile.

You lifted up your head from the blanket then...

Boom

Then you quickly put your head back under the blanket.
"Hey, the storm is 3 miles away" Kiri said.
"Oh" you remembered the science.

You lifted your head back up.
"I feel sorry for the people 3 miles away" you said.
Kiri smiled, and sat down beside you.
He put his arm around you.
You leaned into his touch.

You jumped, but you were calmer.

About 5 minutes later, you were asleep.

Kiri kissed the top of your head.

Then after a few minutes, he was asleep too.
