In one of the many stadiums available, a Bey battle was getting heated. The crowd was either cheering with excitement or holding their breath in anticipation. One of the participants was a caucasian teenage girl with hair the color of polished copper. Her eyes were a bright emerald green, glistening against the sun. Her youthful face held a determined look on it as she watched her bey and the opponent's run circles around the dish in the ground. Her name was Kai Brooke, the blader of Red Sea Nokk 187RC.
"Attack her now!" Her opponent shouted as his bey clashed with hers. Sparks went flying as the two spin against each other, dealing attack damage on themselves. She silently told her partner in the arena to pull back and wait for an opening for attack.
Suddenly, the brunette felt a sting in her right ankle, which she shook off without much thought. She trained her eyes on the battle, trying to find a weakness in the opposer's bey. Upon taking a close look, she noticed a slight wobble to it and could feel a decrease in its stamina.
"Now, Nokk!" She exclaimed as the ruby red bey zoomed towards the opponent. Nokk began to repeatedly strike its opponent with brute force, pushing it back. Kai then commanded her bey to pull back once more. As it did, Nokk then began to speed up and gain stamina. That was when she screamed, "Alright, Nokk! Special Move: Tainted Wave Storm!"
The entire arena was suddenly filled with red salt water as Nokk hits its target head-on. Nokk then uppercuts the opponent's bey, sending it flying out of the stadium. It lands next to the blader, who let out a groan at his loss.
"And the winner of this match is Kai Brooke!" The announcer roared with excitement as the audience erupted with ear-splitting cheers. The brunette called her bey back to her and look up, glancing at her opponent. With a slight shout to her voice, she exclaimed, "Hey kid! You might want to get your bey checked out. I have a feeling that something's off with the performance tip."
The blader looked confused before looking over his bey with careful inspection. He then saw a minor crack in the performance tip, nearly cutting into the metallic material. He smiled and said, "Ah! Looks like there's a nick in it. Thank goodness you pointed it out. Thank you-..."
But as he turned to look in her direction, she was gone...
"Where did she go and... how did she know my bey's tip was damaged?"
