Pia giggled as she flicked her hair back over her shoulder as she made her way into the building. The whole set up seemed like a movie, the way she walked with the crew was enough to show anyone how loved she was, though she could seem vain, Pia Louise Chamberlain was the complete opposite.
The team of security guards lead her to the dressing room that read 'Perrie Edwards.' Craig opened the door for her,
"Cheers Lads!" She smiled as she walked into the dressing room.
She instantly took her bag from her shoulder, dumping it on the floor with her coat as she squealed, rushing into her mothers arms.
"Welcome, my angel!" Perrie said, enveloping her daughter in a tight hug.
"I'm buzzing!" Pia laughed,
"The journey was not a bitta' me though" she said, rolling her eyes as her and Perrie sat on the sofa together."Traffic that bad?" She asked as she got comfortable.
"Absolutely horrific" she dramatically sighed.
The blondes spent the next couple of hours chatting before the rest of the band came and greeted the extra guest. Pia would often go and stay with her mam while she worked, partly because she loved her company and partly because she hated being alone while her father worked.
"Come on, Ms Pia Louise, we have to give you a tour!!" Leigh-Anne got up, dragging Pia out of the room behind her. "These is our dressing rooms, production, costume, makeup, the acts' dressing rooms" she reeled off, pointing at each door despite them all being clearly labelled.
Pia laughed, following her anyway. "Where's catering, is the most important question" she asked,
"You're just like your mother, you" Leigh-Anne replied, pointing in the general direction of the hall set out as a canteen, "just follow that corridor and your nose" she said, unhelpfully.
A crew member saw the pair walking down the corridor and held open the door to a studio, the blaring music filling the corridor.
"Thank you." Pia smiled, following Leigh-Anne in and closing the door quietly before she turned to look around the room.
Leigh-Anne leaned in and whispered, "This is New Priority, Adam, Lee, KC, Zekay and Talis", she named them in the order they were stood.
Pia nodded, vibing along with their rehearsal, smiling at Adam as he looked over.
"He's definitely your type, babes!" Leigh giggled quietly. "Keep it up boys, you're doing great!" She shouted over the music before dragging the blonde out.
"He is not my type!" Pia defends, walking down the corridor behind her, "okay- maybe- he would of been my type, but I've changed now, remember?? I'm not going back to his type." She huffed, ending the tour sprawled in Perrie's egg.
"So?? What's the tea on your love life??" Leigh grinned, trying to get as much information as possible.
"You're too old to be saying and asking this stuff, hun, stop asking!" Pia replied, smiling.
"Well go then, Jack!! If I'm that much of an issue, leave. If you seriously have to even think about choosing me or her then choose her. If you loved me and wanted to be with me then there would be no 'or'." Pia shouted tearfully as she stood face to face with the girl that her long term boyfriend had been cheating on her with.
Jack sighed, rubbing his face harshly as he looked between the pair. They we're absolute opposites, from looks and personalities. He wanted to mix them both together to form his perfect girl, but he daren't say that to either of them. He needed to leave with atleast one of them.
"Pia, you know I love you!" He defends, much to Chloe's dismay."And what about me??" She asks, looking Pia up and down.
Pia shook her head, "babes, you're welcome to him. I just hope you don't have to feel what I feel right now." She said before she turned away and walked down the busy street, it was freshers week so of course there was drunks everywhere not to mention the amount of happy couples tashing on at every opportunity.
"Piaaaaaa" Perrie sang, waving her hand infront of Pia's face.
"Mh??" She asked, looking up. She got lost in the memories of the last time she ever saw Jack and Chloe. It was over 3 years ago but the pain was something she never wanted to feel again and if that meant she'd never allow herself to be loved then so be it. She was prepared to deal with that.
"You zoned out, baba." Perrie smiled, sitting back on the edge of the stage.
"We have to go and work with the bands in like 15 minutes, so you can either go back to my dressing room or- well there isn't an or to be honest." She laughed."Mh, yeah, I'll go back there, I have to check some stuff for work anyway." Pia replied as she got up, and walked out. She made her way back to the dressing room and situated herself on the sofa with her laptop and her drink.
Pia worked for Pretty Little Thing, she was the main PR director in the Manchester head quarters. She loved her job and the work she got to do, it covered so many areas all of which she enjoyed. From the social media content and choosing the brand partners to shooting the campaigns and helping with designing the website, she flourished in her role and made her way to the top quickly in the company.
She worked her way through some emails, updating her small team of the progress in recruiting the newest brand partner. Pia finished her drink and got up, looking at the time on her phone, she wandered out of the dressing room in search of her mam.
"Boys, you're going to smash this! Just make sure you bring those harmonies in quicker, Jacob." Perrie advised as she leant against the table beside the vocal coach. She had just watched Since September's rehearsal of Watermelon Sugar and she was sure that they would ease their way through to the semi finals.
The 6 people in the room simultaneously looked towards the door as it got knocked, seconds later Pia walked in.
"Ooh- sorry, am I interrupting??" She asked, looking at Perrie.
"No, no, come in." She smiled, calling her over.
Pia walked over, eyeing up each member of the band as she did.
Perrie looked back up at the band and introduced them, "This is our Vocal and Instrument band, Since September. Boys, this is my daughter, Pia."
"Hiya huns." Pia smiled sweetly, waving at the four of them.
Her eyes surveyed them, taking in how handsome they all were as well as analysing their personalities from the way they dressed and the way they carried themselves. Finally, her eyes found their way to the prettiest man she had ever laid eyes on. She took it all in, the way his hair was combed back, the silver chain around his neck, the shirt being held together by just two buttons.
They each greeted her, a polite hug and a hello from three of them, and then him. He walked over with this 'thing' about him, she had no idea what exactly the thing was, but she knew it was attractive. She smiled again, tilting her head as he made his way over,
"I'm Pia" she said.
"I know" he winked, putting his hands on her waist as he leant in and kissed her cheek before hugging her like his band mates before.
"Ooh-" she blushed, hugging back. Her head fit perfectly in the crook of her neck, she didn't want him to let go as his gentle aroma soothed her somehow. He smelt like parma violets and mint, she felt her tummy flutter like it did when she was 15, her legs felt like jelly when he let go. She looked up at him, getting lost in his blue eyes, something she hadn't noticed before.
"I'm Harry, Harry Holles." He said, nonchalantly, as if he hadn't just given her a second pulse. She watched as he walked back over to the boys and picking up his guitar again.
Pia couldn't string a sentence together, nevermind gather her thoughts, there were two simple words though, floating around her mind. 'Harry Holles.'
Little did Pia know, this was just the beginning.
