They were trying to run as fast as they could to get away "For fucks sake we can't bloody dematerialize on school grounds" shouted Vincent filled with anger. They could hear the pain and frustration in his voice "Maybe we can speak to the headmaster when we're out of this" yelled Calliope "It's no use, it's not his doing for some reason our magic just doesn't work well on school grounds" Kat added. They were all getting pretty tired but they knew they had to keep going no matter what, rest was not an option at this time nor in their favor.

Vincent was rushing her to the infirmary, her pulse growing weaker by the moment. She looked torn up, scratches all over her legs and a few on her arms "Dammit why were those Howlers this close to school grounds?" he said yelling at the other Knights "I thought you guys said that you were keeping them at Bay, AND who left their post with her?" He said through his teeth. Kat spoke up sounding out of breath from carrying Fred who was passed out in her arms "that would have been me sir" he just looked over his shoulders with such anger in his eyes "We need to hurry, run faster" the other Knights just stared in awkward silence.

They finally reached the Infirmary where Dumbledore was waiting for them "My goodness, please set them here" he said with such concern in his voice "They look worse than I thought, how many were there?" as he stepped aside. They placed them down gently "I would have to say no more than 8 maybe" Parker said sounding out of breath. Dumbledore couldn't help but look concern "Hmmmm that is a lot for just two to handle on their own, thank you Knights for being there. Would hate to think the worst would have happened if you guys didn't show up" nodding his head to them "Yeah Vincent heard screaming and we just followed him, and he was correct" James said. Dumbledore then gestured to the door "Okay well they are being looked after now, we should let them rest" they all nodded in agreement.

As soon as they walked out the doors Vincent had grabbed Kat by her arm and pulled her off to the side so they can talk in private "What the hell Kat, I gave you one job while we are here and that is to be watching her, no matter what!" getting frustrated with her. She crossed her arms "And Vincent I was!" "So why the hell did those Howlers have a chance to attack them? Why the hell did you think for one sec it was okay to rejoin the group? Why did you lie to me when I asked if they were okay?" getting closer to her face. She tried to put some distance between them "Sir when I left them, they were just fine, but....but....I had to walk away sir....for their good and mine" she said blushing a little.

He was getting more frustrated with her "What the hell do you mean by that?" Vincent asked with a raised brow. Avoiding his gaze "Sir you really don't want me to answer that!" "That's an order!" she really didn't want to tell him, but she also had no choice "Sir the reason I left them....hmmmm....how do i put this....she was enjoying more than their picnic" she tried to put it easy on him. Vincent still looked confused "Oh c'mon Kat spit it out!" at this point she was blushing "Sir I left when she started to service him okay! Can I be any clearer on that?" His eyes went wide "You're lying, she's not that type to just carelessly go and do that! He must have made her do it!" looking almost faint.

She tried to warn him "Well sir maybe not with you but she did with him, and she looked more than willing, if anything she looked to be the one in control. So that's why I left, I had no idea there were Howlers in the area. When we checked last, the area was clear, so I'm just as confused as the rest of the team. I'm sorry sir" she said putting a hand on his shoulder while walking away. He yelled back to her "KAT!" she turned to him "If anything happens to her so help me...it's on you...You've been warned" and dismissed her with a wave.

Vincent walked back in where they were resting, and he just stood there in anger thinking how the girl he fell in love with was slipping away and becoming someone he doesn't recognize. He grabbed her hand and said "You will be back home if it's the last thing I do, I promise you that. These people are not your friends or family" and let go of her hand. Vincent then looked over at Fred "You can't even protect her!" he said through his teeth and walked out the infirmary.
