Mason's bucket list:

1. FALL IN LOVE

I was just listening to music and writing my bucket list when i hear a knock at my door. Great. Its probably dad, i think to myself. i get up to open my dorr to a drunk dad. Of corse. 

"Mason... did i ever tell you, that you look just like you mother?" my dad slurs. His breath smells like whiskey. My mom died a couple of months ago. He blames it on me and so do i. 

"Yes dad now lets get you  to bed." i say haveing to carry half his weight for lik what felt for ever, until we finally went got to his room. i layed him on the bed and he instantly fell asleep. Its friday. Damnit.  That means work at the Galaxy Dinner. Fridays are the days we dont have to ear our uniforms so i put on a sleeping with sirens shirt on with some black sinny jeans with holes in the knees. I put my blonde curly hair up in a bun and put on a little mascara to make my sky blue eyes pop. I grabed my long board and put on  my green high topped converse and grabbed my phone and my house keys. I walked out my door to see a family right across the street had moved in. Great more people to deal with.I started walking down my drive way only to get knocked off my feet.

"OH MY GOD." gasped the person by the way they sounded it souned like... i look up to see the royal bitch her self. Kelly Hammer. " I was gonna say im sorry but i guess your the one who should be sorry."

"Yeah sure whatever." i say as i get up and grab my long board and try to walk away but she grabbed my long board out of my hand. "Kelly. give it back." At this time i saw a blonde boy from across the street standing there watching.

" Why should i.?"

" Because i need it"

" Then say Mason is the ugliest person on earth and that no one will ever love her. oh and say how beautiful Kelly hammer is and how she will always be better than mason rose." i could feel the smirk on her face.

" Mason is the ugliest person on earth and no one will ever ove me. and Kelly hammer is beautiful and will always be better at everything." I say as i hold out my hand. "Now give me my long board back please."

I heard cars pass as Kelly's smirk widened. She wouldnt. My eyes were wide open. She couldnt. My mom gave me that. 

"kelly please don..." i didnt even get to finish my sentence before i heard a loud bang and a crack.

" Oh my gosh Mason. im so sorry it slipped." She said with the biggest smile on her face. "well anyway see you at school."

My moms long board broken, into a million pieces. i ran into the road and gathered my long board peices and sat in my drive way and cried. Until i felt a tapp on my shoulder. i dry my tears and and look over my shoulder to see who it is. its the blonde kid from across the street.

"Um hey... Are you okay?" he asked as he sat next to me.

"uh" i say as i sniffled "yeah im fine" i say as i smile weakly.

"Really?" He said as he rasied and eyebrow and pulled my head to his shoulder.  " You can talk to me mason." at this point i was crying out and i told him about my mom and everything. by the time i was done i realized that my head was on his lap. "Mason Rose. dont worry about a thing they say to you okay?" 

"okay and how do you know my name?" he was rubbing circles on my back which felt heavenly. he was heavenly. he had pirceing blue eyes and a black lip ring on his left side of his bottom lip. he had blonde hair. he had an accent i wonder where hes from?

"that kelly chick."

"oh." i say "can i at least know yours?"

"Luke, Luke hemmings."
