Snake lied there in his death bed to be. You'd think everyone would die with regrets, but not this man, he lived his life the way he wanted to. He rebelled against his father's wishes to marry the woman of his dreams, y/n. They explored the world with what time they had left in their hands, but, as we all know, all good things, must come to an end.

"Ahhhh, I lived such fulfilling life, I'm so glad your part of it" he held his wife's hand tightly
"I am too" tears streaming down her smiling face, she felt thankful but is also grieving on the inside.

They sat in a hospital room in comfortable silence, with song of departure playing softly in the background. Not long after, Y/n felt excruciating pain both in her ear and in her heart when she heard the pitched sound coming from the monitor beside her husband, she looked up and saw a flat line. It was the last time they would ever feel each other's warmth again.
