"Y/N!" "Y/N"
You run downstairs, swallowing the happy pill.
"Y/N!" "GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS BEFORE I COME UP THERE!"
"Coming." You quietly yell, because unlike your mother you know that some people are still asleep.
"What is this?" She asks you, with a stern face. It's a report card, with A+ and one A.
"A report card with straight A's?"
You keep yelling back and forth, but you, suffering as much as you are, you don't know that the next move is to back down or break down. It's one or the other. 'A new day is a new chapter', the only thought prancing in your head at the minute.
You storm out of the kitchen, carry on, you might get disowned. You jump into your bed again, shut your blinds and lock your door. You turn on the shower, fantasizing the day, you got up today, who says you won't be productive too? You step into the shower and tears start falling down your face. You start thinking of excuses.
'I got soap in my eyes.' 'Water hit my eyes.' 'I poked myself in the face.' Shampoo fell into my eyes.' You have valid thoughts. You turn of the shower and carry on doing as you started, lay down in bed. You text your friends, still no reply. It's 4pm now, what will you do for your day?
"Y/N! GO EAT!"
"Not hungry."
"YOU HAVEN'T EATEN ALL WEEK!"
Your mum tries to get into your room, she didn't use her initiative though and ended up banging the door with her arm, you didn't unlock it. You get up and unlock it and go back to bed.
"You can come in now, it's unlocked."
"You could've given me a warning"
"You could've knocked and not barge in."
"Don't talk back to me young lady."
You, clearly offended because she misgendered you on purpose, yell at the top of your lungs "AT LEAST I DON'T SLEEP WITH MALE PROSTITUTES AND CHEAT ON MY HUSBAND."
She got mad, you can see it in her face. You've definitely messed it up this time. You got your mum mad and your dad might know something he hadn't. You doze of, crying yourself to sleep. You've woken up at 11:38, every book has a chapter, but some get ripped out and thrown away.
