Chapter Fifteen

Cece looked at the food that was placed on the table, she wanted to eat it, technically she could but she wanted to follow the rules that her mum placed. "Where is Lex?" She asked Vex and Alex.

"Lex and I got in an argument before we left, she said she didn't want to be anywhere near me." It's not rare to hear that Lex and Vex got in an argument, the two argue all the time. It's not like Lex doesn't respect Vex, it's just that Lex doesn't have it in her to not question authority.

No one questioned it, not a single person in the room dared to get themselves involved with a Robertson argument. It was Flynn who spoke up next, "Aunt Kiera, how come Emmy and Dimitri aren't here?"

"Emma hasn't had a sleep all day-"

Kari nodded, "She wouldn't stop crying so Dima stayed to make sure she got some sleep," she young girl explained before turning to Cece, "Why didn't you tell me that being a elder sister is so tiring?" The whole room applauded into laughter, Kari blushed brightly due to all of the sudden attention.

"Being a elder sister is hard but it's worth, I'm sure that either Lex or Raven could explained to you why, they are great big sisters," Cece explained as she smiled to Raven who was blushing deeply at the sound of her and Lex's name in the same sentence.

"Debatable," Alex muttered under his breath so that only a chosen few heard what he had said.

Cass who had been quiet for most of the meal spoke up, "So Spot, Alex," she faced the two, "I heard that you two went to Old Corona," Alex's eyes widened, he can't lie. "Why were you there by yourself?"

"You went to Old Corona?!" Vex practically yelled, "Alexander James Robertson, you are fifteen years old young man, you can don't travel half way across the kingdom without at least telling me!"

"Lex went with me," Alex deflected.

A huge huff came from Vex as she tried to remain calm, she was still a little pissed from her last arguement with Lex, "Of course, Alexandria is once again overpowering me with every single thing," she spoke mostly to herself, the table felt an air of uncomfortableness. She took a deep breath, "Okay, that doesn't matter, it's in the past but why did you go?"

"Spot and I-"

"I missed my grandfather!" Spot cried as he stopped Alex from revealing Cece's secret. "And I wanted to see him but I'm only fourteen, young. It needed to elder chaperones to come with, Lex and Alex happened to be at the bakery at the time so I asked them to join me." His explanation was flawed but it was believable enough, Varian definitely wanted to question his son but Varian knew it couldn't be any worse then what he was doi n g at the twin's age, little did he know they were doing the exact same thing.
