Y/N POV
It's been a week since the battle and everyone was trying to get back to normal. We were all at the Burrow discussing what we should do.

"Minerva needs help to repair Hogwarts," Molly mentioned.
"I'm going to go back and help," I spoke up from the couch.
"I think me and George should open up the shop again," Fred added next to me.
"That sounds good." Molly smiled.

"What did we miss?" Tonks and Remus then came through the front door with Teddy. I rushed over to them.
"How are you all doing?" I asked. Remus just groaned in response.
"Oh don't mind him. We just haven't been getting much sleep." I slightly laughed.

"May I hold Teddy?"
"Of course." She gently placed him in my arms. He was the cutest little thing with his smile.

"What did we miss?" She asked as we walked back.
"Nothing much." I sat on the couch beside Fred placing Teddy on my lap. I lightly tickled his stomach and he began to squirm and giggle.

"You truly have a thing for babies," Remus said slouching onto an armchair.
"I guess I do." I smiled.
"Would you ever mind babysitting? We would ask Harry since he's the godfather, but we think he still has a lot on his mind." Remus explained to me.
"I wouldn't mind at all!"

"Speaking of Harry we're planning a little surprise for him." Tonks sat beside Remus.
"What is it?" I turned my attention to them.
"Even though he's of age we were thinking of adopting him. James, Lily, and Sirius were my closest friends and it only seems right." Remus smiled weakly.

"That sounds like an amazing idea." Molly smiled brightly. I then noticed Teddy trying to get out of my grip toward Fred.

"I see someone's eager." I giggled as I placed Teddy on Fred's lap. Fred looked unsure at first but quickly warmed up to him.
"You two are naturals!" Tonks exclaimed and we both laughed.

"All jokes aside, can I ask you something y/n?"
"Go right ahead, Tonks." I was a little worried about what her question was.
"Do you know what you want to do? Career-wise?"
"If I'm being totally honest no not really."
"You are going to have to do something soon," Remus added in.

"I know, but I'm just going to focus on helping restore Hogwarts for now."
"You can always work at the shop," Fred suggested hopefully. I turned to him seeing him lightly bounce Teddy on his lap.

"No, I won't. That's you and George's shop. That was all you two." Fred nodded understanding where I was coming from.
"If anything I'll just stick to my original plan."
"And what was your original plan?" Tonks asked curiously. I slightly chuckled.

"Funny you should ask because I had thought of becoming a healer or an Auror, but I think I would rather be an Auror." She jumped in excitement and rushed over to me.

"Oh please do! I will try everything in my power to be the one to train you." I laughed at her excitement.
"Okay well, then that's the plan. I won't know when I'll apply, so be patient."
"Okay fine," she sighed calming down.

Teddy started to crawl higher to Fred and was trying to get onto his chest. Fred just looked at him with a small smile.
"It looks like someone's ready for a nap. Is it okay if he can take his nap here?" Tonks walked over to Fred and gently picked up Teddy in her arms.

"Of course dear. Just place him in Ginny's room if you like." Molly leads Tonks upstairs to place Teddy for a nap.

"So how are you with all this parenting stuff?" I asked Remus.
"It's tiring, scary, but I love every moment of it."
"You're a great father Remus." He slightly smiled.

Tonks came back down and plopped onto the couch.
"Tired?" I asked.
"Yes." She started to slowly close her eyes. I turned over to Remus and he was doing the same.
