Jugheads POV

They all look at me like I'm crazy. But you know what I am crazy, crazy for my mate.

"Well are you going to answer my question?" I ask again.

"Listen up here buddy I don't know who you think you are but it doesn't matter. I just came here to see this little cute piece and her little baby's." The guy named Brent said.

Then I feel my back slam against something. He takes out his fangs and tries to scary me but that doesn't work. I grad him by the arms and push him to the ground. We start fighting until I saw blood. It was coming from me. I got him good this time and there was blood every where combined from and me. We didn't stop until we saw black. I only saw him fall too then my eyes shut. I wake up in the doctors but not in my bar because it looks different and my doctor is out today. The next thing I see is the door open. I get scared I mean I am the only serpent here. I see Betty glaring at me. She looks hot though. I smirk at her.

"Stop smirking you know what you did was bad. You really hurt him. And he hurt you really badly are you okay?" She asks me with worry on her face.

I smile at her softly. "Yeah I am. But betts who is he?"

"Brent is my brother he came from the army to visit no worries he had to go back today to his wife."

"Oh Betty I'm sorry I didn't know." I say. she gives me a soft smile. She takes off my shirt and starts cleaning my wounds. I winced.

"sorry" she whispered.

I cup her face and pull her in and kiss her. Her soft lips touch mine. It feels magical again. I feel her melt into the kiss. Seconds later she pulls away.

"I'm sorry I can't do this. We can never work out. We never did." she says

"Betty come on i think we can I am sorry I didn't mean it. I love you betty i love you fucking much more than anything in the world." I tell her. I even start crying. When betty was about to say something the door goes wide little feet are heard hit the floor.

"Mommy ahhhh helpppp." Little giggles are heard.

"sorry Betty the twins got away." Hal says.

Betty just smiles and pick up twins. She puts Sythe next to me on the bed. I smile at him. He just waves at me. While Juliet is giggling at me.
