*Christmas Eve Morning*
Ginny woke up the next morning hearing a door close downstairs.
She glanced over to the next bed, and saw Rose sleeping peacefully, all the worry she had seen in her best friend's face the day before, gone.

She turned over and saw Hermione muttering in her sleep. Words that suspiciously sounded like
"Ron. Ron. Ronnn."

Ginny giggled.

Not wanting to go out without getting ready, she headed into the adjoining bathroom she had forgotten about just about a week earlier.

She checked the time on the clock that hung on a wall and it read
9:47 in glowing white.

She washed her face, brushed her teeth, pinned two pieces of hair from each side to the back and threw on a pair of black pants and a dark green sweater vest.

Satisfied, she walked into the bedroom to see Hermione and Rose still sleeping.

Feeling particularly mischievous, she found a half empty bottle of water and dunked a little of the freezing water on her friend's face.

Rose woke up instantly, gasping.
She glared at Ginny, who laughed quietly.
Ginny nodded toward Hermione, and despite being totally freezing, Rose went around to the other side of the bed and splashed the rest of the water on Hermione's sleeping form. She quickly threw the bottle to Ginny, who, with instinct, caught it and walked over.

"Rise and shine sleepy head! It's time to wake up!" Ginny smiled down at her friend's scowling face.

"Oh Hermione. It wasn't that bad. And I did on your shirt. Gin over her did it full on my face!" Rose said, pretending to glare at Ginny.

Hermione laughed, finally finding humour in the situation.

Rose and Hermione went into the bathroom to dry off and put on new clothes.

Rose came out wearing a dark shirt and jeans, and had put her long caramel hair into a high ponytail.

Hermione tamed her bushy mess of curls, with the help of Rose's Muggle anti-frizz cream.

It was the only Muggle product Rose had and she refilled it every time she went to Hogwarts.

Hermione wore a deep purple.sweater with a black skirt, that Ginny thought was part of her school uniform.

The girls wemt down the stairs, being careful so that they didn't wake up anyone who was still sleeping.

When Ginny emtered the dining room, however, she got a surprise.

"Dad!," cried Ginny and she threw her arms around her father.
He was in a wheelchair and he still had bandages on, but it looked fewer then what she had seen when she went to visit her dad in the hospital.

(Sorry, I didnt put in the St Mungos visit. I mayy have forgotten the DA meeting too so I am doing it after Christmas.)

"Hello Ginny! Ah, Rose, Hermione. How are you lot?," her father looked happy.

"We are fine, Mr Weasley. How are you?" Asked Rose.

"Much better, thank you. They gave me a Blood-Replenishing potion." He replied.

Mrs. Weasley came out of the kitchen and looked at her husband.
"And you won't mess about with Muggle remedies? Right dear?" She asked with a sharp tone in her voice.

Mr Weasley smiled weakly.
"Yes dear. Yes of course."

Mrs. Weasley seemed to be happy with that answer and disappeared into the depths of the kitchen.

She came back a few minutes later with plates full of sunny side up eggs, bacon, toast and jam.

The girls took this as an opportunity to eat early, enjoying the quiet and to got upstairs and wrap gifts.

So they stuffed themselves and ran upstairs.

They shut the door so no one would see what they were hiding.

"So Rosie. What did you get for your girlfriends?" Ginny asked casually.

Rose bopped her on the head with a pink pillow.

"Nuh uh. Not telling. But as a matter of interest, what did you get HP?"
She asked laughing.

Ginny bit her lip.
She went underneath her bed and pulled out black and bottle green book.

She opened it to reveal pictures. Pictures of Harry at Hogwarts with his friends, with his parents when he was a baby amd pictures with Sirius and Remus and all of the Weasleys. Ginny had asked Sirius and her brothers for the photos and decorated it to look neat and tidy. It looked pretty good, if she did say so herself.

Rose gasped along with Hermione.
"Gin! That is beautiful! Oh he's going to love it!" Hermione exclaimed.

Ginny smiled nervously.
"You think? It's not too much?" She asked.

"No way. He will love it, I know. But at least show mr what you got Cora and Lexi!" Rose said giving her puppy eyes.
Ginny chuckled.
She handed Rose a book.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The Lightning Thief.
"Cora loves Muggle books and I thought she would like this. Oh and I got her a package of Chocolate Frogs and Sugar Quills." Ginny explained.

"Oh she will love it. I love this series so much! What about Lex?" Said Hermione.

Ginny smiled. It was their first Christmas as friends and Ginny wanted to make it special. So she had gotten Lexi a curling iron.

Lexi hated having wavy hair every day and wanted curly hair.

She had gotten her some jasmine scented perfume.

"She's always using jasmine shampoo. I reckon she will like this too."

Hermione smiled and Rose gave her a quick thumbs up.

Ginny had always admired that Rose could be fun and happy all the time, even if she was worried.

There hadn't been any news on her parents and there were other families, that weren't in the Order, getting attacked.

The Death Eaters didn't put up their Mark in the sky when they killed someone anymore. They wanted to make sure that everyone thought that Harry was being a nuthead. They also didn't want anyone to know that Voldemort was back.

Ginny could tell Rose missed her parents. So she started up a game of truth or dare. They played and Ginny could see that Rose was at peace. For the time being.
