WE OPENED THE DOOR OF THE WAITING ROOM, SPOTTING Iida and Ochaco. "Uraraka!" Midoriya called out, causing both her and Iida turn in our direction. "Deku! Lani!" She exclaimed, as I closed the door and we went over to her.

"Why aren't you guys watching the matches?" She asked. "Well, most of them ended like I expected them to." Midoriya responded. I nodded. "Yeah, and it looks like Kirishima and that Tetsutetsu guy's match is going to last for a small while."

Ochaco gripped her wrist in nervousness. "I'm next... So this is it... My fight."

Iida turned to both me and Midoriya. "It'll be okay. I don't think Bakugo would use the full power of his explosions on a girl, right?" Iida questioned. "Considering the attitude of that hedgehog? Definitely not." I replied, making Ochaco whine a bit. "I- I mean... probably..." I corrected myself.

"Besides," Midoriya spoke. "everyone's trying to get the top spot on these games, even if she wasn't fighting Kacchan. I don't think anyone would hold back." He added, and looked down. "You've helped me so much. It's my turn to help you." He said as he pulled out his notebook.

"Maybe... I can repay a little bit with this." He showed his notebook to the hazel-haired girl. "I've got a plan for how you can use your quirk against Kacchan. It's not much, but I did my best."

"Hey! Well alright, this is perfect!" Iida exclaimed. I nodded in agreement. "Exactly! It could work against your opponent." I said, and walked over to her. I pulled out a chair and sat beside her. "You can do it, Ochaco. We believe in you."

"Thanks, Lani. And... thanks so much for doing that, Deku." She said, and turned to face the green-haired boy. "But no. Sorry." She added, taking us slightly aback. "Ochaco..." I mumbled, but she cut me off.

"Listen, you're wonderful, Deku. I keep seeing that over and over again. During the Cavalry Battle, I told you it was good to team up with friends. But now that I think about it, I might've been trying to rely on you to get by. That's why, when Iida said he was trying his best to beat you, and when I saw Lani on the battlefield with full confidence without relying on anyone, I actually felt kind of ashamed and embarrassed for myself." She admitted as she stood up.
