"Earth....earthyyyyy...EARTH!"

I jolt awake to see pansy hovering over me. Already dressed in her school uniform with her jet black hair straightened to perfection stopping right above her shoulders. She smiles lightly at me as she tilts her head.

"It's time to get up, you missed breakfast and your about to be late to potions, oh and don't get me started on draco, I'd stay clear of him if you can, he about busted into the dorm rooms to look for you."

I let out a loud groan and shoved my head into the pillow.

"Can't I just skip potions today?" I say muffled into my pillow

"I didn't understand a word you said but I'm guessing you said something about skipping and the answer is absolutely not."

As soon as pansy finished her sentence, something hit the back of my head at full force. I lift my head to see that it was in fact my uniform. I look to my left to see pansy standing, now with arms crossed, smirking at me. I was taken back when I felt something weird..like butterflies in my stomach...what the hell?

"Ok fine, for fucks sake."

I sit up and stretch my arms to the ceiling, letting out a small squeal. I look at pansy fixing her makeup in the mirror. I feel so thankful to have a friend like her. She looks past the fact that my parents are infatuated with the lives of muggles and she actually engages in conversation about life outside of wizardry. She stands up for me whenever someone attempts to insult me, which is rare because everyone sort of fears her. I always remember when I met her in first year.

I take a seat in the great hall at the slytherin table after being sorted. I looked around at everyone to see that they already knew who they were sitting next too. Me, a small awkward girl with hair on my head similar to a bush, had no confidence whatsoever ever to even think of speaking to anyone.

"SLYTHERIN!" I hear the hat yell

I look over to see a petite girl with black hair cut in a bob walking towards me. I freeze and look away staring at the table. I feel someone sit in front of me, when I look up I see its not the black haired girl but a blonde haired boy with a cheesy grin.

"Hi, I'm Draco, but people call me Malfoy"

I look down at his outstretched hand as I feel someone sit next to me. I quickly shake his hand and look to my right to the petite black haired girl. She had beautiful emerald eyes that sparkled and a bright smile.

"Pansy Parkinson" she says with the softest voice i had ever heard.

"Earth" is all I managed to squeak out.

Both shared a look of confusion.

"As in..the earth we live on?" Draco questioned.
I nodded my head, "my parents named me Earth because I was born on Earth Day."

"Earth day? Is that a muggle thing?" Pansy asked.

"Oh..uh..I"

"I like it"

I look at her with wide eyes but soon fix my face. She's smiling at me with her cheeks flushed a light pink. I was about to thank her when Draco opened his mouth.

"That's quite odd isn't it? But I like odd so I guess you're ok" he said with a smile.

This is when I knew that my first year might not be so bad.

We're now freshly into our 6th year and not much has changed. Draco still loathes Harry and his crew. Pansy is still crushing on Draco, very noticeably I might add. And I am here still confused on my sexuality, oh and failing potions on top of that. Father isn't too happy about that one. But come on, there's a billion potions and I have to remember whether to stir clockwise or counter clockwise? A bit foolish if you ask me. Anyway, yes I label my self as bisexual (no one knows), because for one me and Draco dated for bit back in 5th year. It was a mutual breakup, Theo is very attractive and we have hooked up a few time and two, I've always found Luna quite intriguing. Pansy as well given the butterflies I got when she smirked at me.

I put on my uniform, my skirt fitting a bit smaller than usual, my hips seem to be growing in. I wet my hair and tame it the best I can without it looking like I just hopped out of bed. After fighting it for 10 minutes I decided a very large bun with some pieces of hair falling down my face was going to have to work.

"See now that wasn't so hard was it?"

I look at pansy through the mirror and give her the finger. She laughs as she grabs our stuff and yanks me out the door.

"Wait, where's Rachel?"

"Waiting for us in the common room, now come on!"

I let her yank me down the stairs, only to see not just Rachel, but Malfoy as well. Great.

"Where the hell have you been Lawson?! You skipped breakfast and then I couldn't find you during free period, Nicolson and I thought you were kidnapped!"

Rachel spoke up, "actually, HE thought you were kidnapped, I knew you were just getting some extra sleep."

Draco rolled his eyes and started walking towards the door, "well come on then I don't want snape deducting points cause Earth over here needs her fucking beauty sleep."

I roll my eyes and walk beside Pansy and Rachel. I already wanna go back to sleep.
