"Sandra!" Alexandria called. "You there?"

Sandra shouted back, "Yes! I'm here!"

Alexandria and Sandra were going to explore the ancient Walker monument which was stationed near their house. Alexandria was ready early, because she was very excited. This would be her first time exploring the monolith which was supposedly uncovered by the legendary Lily Cadieux, or Walker #28300.

Sandra came out, dressed in her casual black jeans, and a grey jacket pulled over her shoulders. "Let's go," she said.

When they reached the place, they saw their old friend Jason guarding the monolith as usual. He gave them a smile and said, "Alexa. Sandra. Welcome."

Alexandria said, "We have to sign, right?"

Jason said, "Yes. But be careful inside the area."

"Why?" Sandra asked.

Jason replied, "A strange person named Margrethe entered the monolith some time ago. She's still there. Her ID is 88888. She came to me all serious, and asked me, 'Is the place open?' I replied by saying yes, and she charged right in."

Sandra snorted. "Charged?"

Jason laughed. "Okay, maybe not charged, but she seemed pretty shaken."

Alexandria signed the paper, and headed on to the monolith. She was amazed by the sheer energy it radiated. It was in the form of an AW drawing. Apparently, #28300 had uncovered it by placing mirrors on either side of the AW drawing which was sticking out, which reflected the sun's rays and caused the monolith to ascend into the earth.

As Alexandria stood by the monolith, her mouth hanging open, Sandra kneed her. "Look there," she whispered to Alexandria. "See that person?"

Alexandria saw a mop of blonde hair, and a black hoodie even darker than the one Sandra wore. Her skin was fair, and she had a mask on.

"That's #88888?" Alexandria whispered.

"Yes," said Sandra.

Margrethe noticed their gaze, and nodded in their direction. She walked up to Sandra and Alexandria. "What's your ID?" she asked in a voice which was deep and high at the same time.

"#57875," replied Alexandria.

"#57468," said Sandra.

"Walk with me," said #88888. Her commanding tone made it impossible to refuse, so Sandra and Alexandria fell in pace with her.

"Do you know the history of this monument?" Margrethe asked.

"Yes," Alexandria eagerly replied. "Lily Cadieux, better known as Walker #28300, discovered this monolith as her mission to get to the past and understand her life continued. She put mirrors to the sides of the drawing to reflect the sun's rays, which lifted the monument up."

Margrethe smiled. "Good job. But do you know what it does?"

Alexandria was puzzled. "No?" she managed.

Sandra said, "I heard what it does in a news forecast some days ago. Doesn't it occasionally show the past and future?"

Margrethe said, "That's where you are wrong. It doesn't occasionally show glimpses of the future and past. It does so every time." She ran a hand along the smooth and mossy surface of the giant monolith. "Look at this," she beckoned to Alexandria and Sandra.

Where her hand was lain, there was drawn a giant solar storm crashing towards a city.

"What is that?" Sandra asked.

"This was the ancient city of the past Walkers." said Margrethe. "This was wiped out by the solar storm you see above-"

Margrethe was cut short by Alexandria, who pointed to another drawing. "What is this?" she asked, a little nervously.

Sandra said, "I'm pretty sure this wasn't here when we came."

Margrethe turned to see the picture. It showed a red logo, and the words, WE ARE HERE.

She took off her mask. For the first time, Alexandria appreciated her beauty. She radiated a kind of leader energy.

"That." said Margrethe, her voice full of terror. "Is the Red Nexus logo."
