Hope POV
When my uncle Kol heard the thump of Naruto's heart my emotions burst inside of me, he looked still, quiet and if you didn't listen closely one would think he was dead.

The battle was over, the school grounds looked like there was a war. The back woods were half destroyed by the amount of power that was used. It's been a half hour since Uncle kol let the rest of us know that he heart beat was faint but it was there. My dad carried him into the school and I directed him to the infirmary that's where we were currently. He hasn't shown any signs of waking up and my father was on the phone speaking to Freya about the events that occurred and Naruto's current condition.

His appearance was something I hadn't seen before I've never witnessed him use that much power in a fight or even go into his Hanyou form. His clothing was torn there were claw marks on his chest that were not healing as fast it usually would. If I guess I would've said it was healing just above human pace. His face hadn't had any injuries however the stains remained on the blood he coughed when he came back from wherever he took the demon.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to face my mom she gave me a small smile.

"How about we get him cleaned up? We wouldn't want him to wake up like this" she said softly, probably because I nearly or actually did break down and she was afraid when I heard him inhale raggedy breaths.. when his heart stopped beating the strong rhythm that I would feel at peace with, It felt like my heart was being chipped away at.

The words he said to me sounded like he was saying goodbye, like it had been decided that he would leave this world and there wasn't anything I could do about it. So yes of course I broke down I never loved this hard before, felt so much for someone that I felt they were the air that I breathed.
I looked back to my mother my eyes were still wet with tears and gave her a small nod.

"Yeah Uhm I guess I'll go get some other clothes for him too" I said taking my hand out of his. I left a kiss on his lips "I love you" I whispered.

"Do you want me to join you darling?" My dad asked from the corner of the room, it looked like he was done with the phone call. I smiled shaking my head " no that's alright dad just stay here with him" I said somewhat nervously " please" he squeezed my shoulder as I passed.

When I exited the infirmary I felt dizzy and I centered myself against the wall. I inhaled a deep breath and looked down to my stomach and rubbed it 'I'm pregnant' i thought unbelievably well I didn't know whether I was however Naruto looked 100% sure that I was. I knew I felt sick a week a ago and the last time I had my period... " shit I am late" I muttered to myself as I continued my journey to his room.
