New Years Eve

GEORGE POV

"Can I?" George asked and she nodded. They both looked each other deep in the eyes and he started leaning in.

His lips brushed against hers and he felt like fireworks we're going off. He deepened the kiss a little while she brought her hands to his hair.

The both of them pulled away after some time, blushing like crazy. "Goodnight George, Merry Christmas." "Merry Christmas love." He said back.

He was so mesmerised by her. He couldn't help it, but right now, he was smiling like a crazy person. 'If she only knew how long I wanted to do that. It's like we're made for each other.' He thought to himself.

Once he knew for sure that Y/N was in her room, he made his way up as well, with the biggest smile still spread on his face.

"What happened to you?" Fred asked. "We kissed, not just on the cheek. A real kiss. I can't believe that just happened." He told his brother.

"Way to go Georgie." He said with a proud smile. "Like I said, she likes you back mate. If you won't ask her out, I will." "Alright I will... Now I only gotta wait for the right moment though."

It was now New Years Eve and his parents decided to have a little party. He and Y/N didn't talk about the kiss, but they did get closer. They would flirt more often or share these little touches once in a while.

He was still trying to encourage hymself to ask her out, but everytime he got close to asking her, he would just get nervous and chicken out.

The day went by pretty quick as it was now almost time for dinner.

Mom told all of them to dress up, because she wanted this New Years Eve to be special. So Fred and him put on a suit and made their way downstairs.

Y/N POV
*In the mean while*
"Ginny, we really should get changed now, it's almost time for dinner." You told her as she was still playing on the Gameboy I got her for Christmas. "Yeah, yeah, one more game okay." She said.

You got up and took the Gameboy away from her. "Hey, I was playing that." "You're literally obsessed Gin, take a break. We should get dressed though, dinner is almost ready and you don't want your mother to be mad at you now, will you?" You said.

"Ugh, I hate it when you act like the older one." "Excuse me, I am the older one." You said in a sassy tone. The both of you laughed at this and started to get dressed.

You put on a red dress that hugged your curves just perfectly an stopped halfway your thighs. You put some make up on, not too much, just a little.

Ginny was wearing a purple dress with half long sleeves, that also hugged her curves perfectly. It was a little longer than yours and also she put on some make up.

"Ginny, how do I look?" "Oh my God Y/N you look so beautiful." She said while she smiled brightl at you. "To be honest you look incredibly hot, if my brother doesn't kiss you tonight, I will." This made the two of you chuckle a little.

"But oh my.. Ginny look at you. You look so beautiful. If Harry was here he'd totally give you that New Years kiss." You said smirking at her, which made her blush. She had a really big crush on Harry, almost everyone knew about this except Harry himself.

"Ready to go downstairs?" You nodded and the both of you made your way to the living room.

The two of you were greeted by Molly. She was also wearing a beautiful dress. "Oh my girls, you look so beautiful." She said as she threw you and Ginny in a hug. "Thank you Molly. But look at you, Arthur is a lucky man." You said with a smile and your words made her blush a little.
