"Mommy, do I have to go live with daddy? I'm not saying I don't want to it's just, I like it here in the forest." says a three year old Missy.

"Yes Missy, you do have to go." her mother says as a group of people approach them.

"Hello there. I'm Ms. Granada director of the heroics program." the women of the group says.

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Granada. I assume Marcus sent you all to pick up Missy since he's away on a mission." Missy's mom says.

"Yes. That is correct." Ms. Granada says.

"Well Missy, I guess that this is goodbye." Missy's mom says as she bends down to Missy height and gives her a hug and says "Bye kiddo!".

"Bye momma." Missy says with tears in her eyes as she walks over to Ms. Granada.

"Don't worry she's in good hands. I promise." Ms. Granada tells her.

"She better be." Missy's mom replies as Missy, Ms. Granada, and the others all walk off.

*Its been seven years since the day my mom died* Missy thinks as she gets out of bed and puts on an outfit that says 'leave me alone' "Morning Missy. Breakfast is almost ready."

"Morning dad be right down" Missy says as she finishes brushing her long, wavy, white hair and heads down stairs. When she gets into the kitchen Marcus asks "Did you sleep ok?"

Missy then grabs two of the egg shells that are in the bowl and says "Did you?" as Marcus grabs cereal from the pantry, and milk from the fridge as Missy grabs two bowls and sets them down on the table.

"I see your wearing leave me alone. You know, I want you to try and make some friends." Marcus says as he pours some cereal in Missy's bowl.

"Yeah, not today. Dad what's going on? Is that Miracle guy?!" says Missy as her dad turns the tv off.

"That, is just a training exercise." He says to her as they finish eating breakfast and get in the car as Marcus takes Missy to school.

-In the school parking lot-

"Have a good day." Marcus says as Missy get out of the car.

"What's wrong?" she asks.

"Nothing it's just... I love you." He says.

"An I love you at 8 a.m. on a random Tuesday. Are you sure your ok? I love you too!" Missy says as she walks off.

-At Heroics Headquarters-

"Sheild's are up today." a male agent says as he swips his access card.

"Did they really say armada out in space?" A female agent asks as Marcus swips his card.

An audio then comes on over the speakers and says 'Next stop heroics lobby.'

-In heroics control center-

"Tracking over one-hundred alien vessels. Who do you wanna send ma'am?" A female agent asks as Ms. Granada comes in and walks to the middle of the room.

"How about... Blinding fast and Crushing low." Ms. Granada suggests.

"I don't know ma'am, they haven't really been getting along since the crisis." A male agent says to her.

"How about Sharkboy and Lavagirl." Ms. Granada says.

"This isn't a two hero job." Marcus says as he puts what's on the scanner on the big screen.
