Silent Whispers

~A New Life~

It was mid-summer, Katsu Yagami, an eighteen-year-old transfer student was getting settled into his new apartment. He had Transferred to Ravenwood high, a school that's home to many, especially the ones who stay in the dorms, But Sadly Katsu was only able to stay in an apartment downtown, He wasn't able to pay for a dorm due to his financial troubles. Katsu left many family and friends back where he was from, most were mad he had decided to leave, others upset that he left without saying goodbye, but to him it was necessary, he had developed a problem of sorts, a problem most people found unsettling but he himself struggled with the pressure, Katsu was mute and it was hard for him to talk to other people, his depression and anxiety felt like it was taking control of his life, it was hard enough for him to make friends.

As it became later in the day Katsu decided to go out and take a good look around the city and find a close grocery store near home, he got his shoes on as he sighed softly thinking to himself

{Today has been a long day)

He got his shoes and jacket on before walking out and locking his door, he looked around and seen everyone happy and cheerful, the thought didn't make him sick per se but it made him feel not as normal as every else. As he walked down the stairs and onto the sidewalk, he looked around as he walked scoping for the nearest grocery store, before accidentally bumping into a nice young woman, he should his head and looked up seeing a taller woman standing in front of him, she looked down to see a somewhat short boy, with light brown hair and cute brown eyes, he hair short but somewhat long

Woman: "Hey can you please watch where you are going? Oh I've never seen you around here before are you new?"

The woman asked curiously as she waited for a response from Katsu, he hurried quickly as he pulled out a notepad and pen before writing

"I'm so sorry"

The woman looked at him and chuckled

Woman: "It's quite alright, don't talk much huh?"

She said with a sweet smile

"I am Fumiko Masuki, but everyone calls me Fumi,"

She says standing a bit awkwardly.  Katsu flipped to a new page as he wrote

"I'm Katsu Yagami, but everyone calls me Kat"

He hid shyly behind the notebook as he looked up at her

Fumi: "Well it's nice to meet you,  Kat um are you lost? I know its a big city but if there is somewhere you need to go I could point you in the right direction"

She says sweetly

Katsu nodded as he turned to a new page and wrote "Grocery store" and showed it to her

Fumi: "Oh that's actually right around the corner here, I could walk with you if you'd like"

Katsu nodded as he started walking down the sidewalk, Fumi following him, she seemed to keep having a conversation mostly with herself as they walked

Fumi: "so are you a high school student?"

She asked curiously
