PROLOGUE

"Y/N" You heard your mother called you. "Show me the wound, please" She said smiling at you. "No alcohol!" You said hugging your leg scared that it would hurt once she treats the wound "I won't hurt you darling~" She reassured you while caressing your cheeks.

"Do you know the story of the God of Naosu?" She said looking at you lovingly, you shook your head and look at her with bright eyes. "It was said that a long time ago five kids were fallen ill in a small tribe." She tells a story while getting a damp cloth to remove the dirt on your wounded knee, "Everyone was so worried that all of the kids in their tribe will catch the illness. The parents cried to their leader to find a cure to heal and fix their poor children" She continued and starts wiping your knee.

"What is the illness, mama?" You ask tilting your head to the side, she was silent for a bit putting the damp cloth aside and look at you "They were all unable to speak."

You are surprise and think how hard it is to experience that. "then, what happened next?" You ask again. She chuckled to see you confuse and wants to know more. She then held your small hands and continued "Then, their leader felt pity to the mothers who cried for help. The leader was no sorcerer nor an exorcist to know how he could help his people. One night, he went out to the woods and look for an answer. "Maybe there's a special herb to cure the illness", he thought to himself. While walking in the middle of a dark woods he came a upon a lady with black dress-"

The story felt suspense and you gotten scared cutting off your mother and yelled "It's a black lady!" and hugged her.
She got surprised and laugh "No" she pull you away and patting your head, "It was a lost God" she said smiling "A lost god?" you ask her, and she nodded. "The lost God pleaded the leader to help her find a shelter and said she'll grant him anything. In the need of answer to cure and help his people, he welcomed the lost god to his tribe. When the morning came the lost God thank him for the shelter and food, she then ask for his wish. The leader then said the situation and the lost god smile wide; she gave the leader a piece of paper with words he doesn't understand."

"Is she a bad god?" you asked "Yes." Your mother replied with a serious tone "Maybe that's why she's lost cause she's so bad the God of all Gods banish her from the heavens" You said with cute angry look.

That made your mother giggle and continue again. "After the lost God have left, the leader then ordered his servants to call all the kids that's suffering from the curse. The servants then lined the children in front of the leader. Looking down at the five children who's having a hard time breathing and sweating a lot, he read the words on the paper" She paused for a moment.

"It says... Forbidden to speak, but only to seek a small cure to heal the sick. Words will hurt others and there is no turning back. A mark on thy door in black. Whoever heard the words themselves, will only know this chant will curse thyself."

You look at her in confusion "What?" she smiled at you and look at your wound. "After saying the words suddenly the children stop shivering and seem to breath normally, Then a visible mark formed on their mouth. The children then got so happy and thanked the leader and talked about the suffering they experience. "It was like Choking" one kid said to his mother a silence came and the mother suddenly collapse on the floor holding her throat and the leader saw that she seems to be choking" She said and explained.

"Oh! I get it now. It healed the suffering but in return of healing them. They curse the one they are talking to!" You said in shock finally understanding the story "mmm!" your mother nodded.

"Well, it seems that it just made it worse, what is the real cure?" you ask with a sulky expression. "The cure was bought by the God of Naosu. She went down from the heavens and cure all five of the children" she answered "Eh? How?" just like that the story end and you notice your wounded knee is now healed. "You'll know soon."
