Jacob Bertrand was a part of a charity fundraising event for cancer patients in May 2015. The event included a set of activities that people were allowed to participate in. The ticket money went into the chairty fund. Jacob participated in a Nerf gun shooting activity and also tweeted about it. In October 2016, Jacob attended the 27th annual celebrity fundraiser, A Time for Heroes, hosted by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The event aimed to spread awareness about HIV and it also offered encouragement to HIV positive people. The attendees celebrated at the event by helping kids create characters at the Nickelodeon activity and photo booth, and at the 'mad scientist' activation center.
