Selene Morell Aruna had just moved cities again, unable to live her normal life in her old city that she called home. She loved that city dearly, with all her heart, but that city was getting suspicious. Too suspicious. She sighed before looking up, towards her house.Selene stood outside her new home, a 2 floor, normal looking house. However, it hid many a secret that would be buried deep down among surface of her lies. She turned her head around in weird patterns to check the outside of the building, and the garden. The only light being supplied to her were that of the moonlight and the street lamps, which were rare down her area of the town.
Selene took a deep breath before wrapping her hand around the boring handle of her plain, silver suitcase that was filled with her most important items. Some clothes, sanitary items, bottles of water and some travel food. She started heading up the steps to her new house, her suitcase following behind her, bumping the edges of the steps roughly, like she didnt care for the looks or the need of the suitcase.
She stepped up her last step, approaching the polished, wooden door. There was a silver door handle, a round knob that she would easily grasp with her left hand, as she still held the handle of her suitcase with her right hand. She twisted the doorknob slightly towards her, and pushed the heavily painted, black door inwards, stepping in the first chance she got.
Her smooth, black heels clicked against the again, wooden floor. She gazed around the hallway of her new house while she ragged the wheels of her case over the silver doorstep, that matched the silver doorknob, into the house. She took her hand away from the matte black handle of her bag to look in awe around the house. The house looked incredibly expensive, it was decently better then the last dump she lived in.
Selene used her right foot to push the door closed, something about hearing the click when it closed, satisfied her. She didnt lock the door quite yet as she didnt feel like she needed to. She walked down the hallway, marvelling at the interior. ' This is a nice house. ' She thought to herself as she backed up a little to grab her suitcase.
She took her suitcase without a care for the suitcase, and whether or not she would break it and hauled it up the stairs that were placed next to the hallway, only accessed to by a small open entrance. She used the banister to help her walk up the stairs as her suitcase was ready to burst open any moment, therefore causing some strain on her arm. Being one of her kind, she had immense strength, but she didnt bother to use it as this was a tiny matter.
Soon enough, Selene has found the perfect bedroom she wanted. Her suitcase was open on her clean sheets and clothes were sprawled everywhere. She grabbed one of her favourite pair of pyjamas and she took the new outfit into her walk-in closet and got changed in there. Since it was night-time, she needed comfier clothes on.
After she had finished getting changed, she walked out of the closet, realising her whole room was a disaster and she hadn't sorted it out yet, and what hurt most was that most of her stuff was covering her bed, making it harder and harder for her to sleep. She sighed and walked over to the blinds. She closed them so no one from the outside could see what she did next. This may be a neighbourhood for the supernatural, but what happens if a hunter strolls on by?
Selene turned to face the mess that the room was after she had closed the blinds. She closed her eyes and focused, and then opened her eyes. Her personal belongings were flying around the room, organizing themselves. She smiled, proud of herself. She then, happily, walked over to her bed. She yawned as her sheets started changing themselves.
When they were changed, Selene lifted a corner of the quilt up and snuggled herself into her bed. She lay on her side, looking towards the extremely plain, white, normal door that led from this room to the hallway. At that moment in time, she had forgotten about her front door. It remained unlocked. Selenes eyes soon closed and she yawned, falling asleep.
