Jimin and Jungkook's great grandfathers were really good friends. They decided and created a kingdom together,named it Busan and started ruling over there together only. They got married to their respective wives and had Jikook's grandfathers. They too were great friends. This happened with their fathers too and they also started ruling over Busan together. They then had Jimin and Jungkook.
Now, even if all of them were really good friends but jimin and Jungkook's bond is totally different from all of them. They have amazing chemistry between them and basically are soulmates. They are living together with their families in the same Palace. They have been living together since their birth only. Jimin is three years younger than Jungkook and thus Jungkook is really protective of him.

Just like their fathers, their mothers are also very close to each other. Jungkook has just turned 25 the last month and Jimin 22 last week. And thus their parents started talking about their marriage. One can only become a king when he gets married. So the parents wanted jimin and Jungkook to get married now so they can be allotted as the next Kings of their kingdom Busan.
