Morning After

Melody's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I looked around and saw Shane. "Hey Babe!" I start to raise up and fell back down. "OWW!" I scream. "Headache?" "Yes and a bad one." He gives me a cup of water and pain pills. "It'll be ok." I get up and he drives me home.

I walk to Kim's room. "Kim? You ok?" I asked the shaking crying girl. "Why do you care, huh?" She snaps. "I'm your twin. I always care!" "You didn't last night! I screamed your name as he dragged me. As he raped me. As he touched me. Glenn was there, not you!" "Who raped you?"

Kim's pov.

"No one! No one did!" I lie. Mom walked in. "Kim? Don't lie. Did you get raped?" "Momma, I'm scared!" "Why?" "It was Shane! He raped me. I'm scared, momma!" Melody rolls her eyes. "I know you hate him. I know you hate Shane but stop the lies! He would never hurt you!" "We both know that Shane's sick. You don't even love Shane, do you? Noooooooo, you like Daryl!" I say. "You're sick! You are a sick person!" Melody screams pushing me. I fall onto my wrist. "OWW!" I scream tearing rolling down my face. "Melody, you took this to far!" Momma says.

Two hours later

(Momma) Annette's pov.

"Mrs.Greene, Kim was raped. We did some work and we can clearly see she was raped." My world started spinning. My daughter was raped. Whoever did this to my Kim is a monster. "Is she ok?" "When we told her she started shaking. She kept saying 'I knew it. He did this'. She might have panic attacks." He tells me. I nod and wipe my tears. I walked in and saw her hand wrapped up and her face red. "Let's go home, Kim."

Kim's pov.

She lied. We didn't go home. We went to the police station. "Hi, I'm Mrs. Greene. My daughter would like to report a rape." "MOTHER!" I yell. The police lady took me to a room.

"What happened?" "I went to a party with my twin and older sister. It was my twins boyfriends party. We danced, people made out, even got drunk. I had a few drinks when Shane, my twins boyfriend, started flirting with me. I remember telling him that I'm not Melody. He said he knew and dragged me to a room. I yelled for Melody. She never came. I remember he left to pee and I ran out. Glenn found me and took me home. I begged my mom to let him stay. I cried the whole night. I'm scared."

"It'll be ok." She tells me. "How? I can't walk down the same hall. I can't even see him or think of him." "Can you stay anywhere?" "My sister, Maggie, lives in the city. I can go there!" She nods and tells my parents. "They said to try it here first." I nod and then head with them to my parents. "What's his full name?" "Shane Walsh!" My daddy sighs. "He's a bad kid. He's been staring at Kim for a while during my class." I look down.

Melody's pov.

I sat on the bench at the park with Daryl. Merle went to get ice cream. I kept blushing at everything Daryl said. He was sweet but he's rude sometimes. "Why are you do upset?" "Family stuff! Kim and Shane stuff." "Did they have sex?" "Something like that!" "What?" "She's saying he raped her at the party." "Oh, she did run from his room crying. I saw Glenn help her. I think he did rape her. He's sick. I mean he's been cheating on you with Andrea."

"YOU TOO!" "Hey! Hey hey hey! Don't yell. Think about it all." "I don't think it's true. He's cheating on me but he didn't rape her." "Whatever you think." We start flirting more. "You're beautiful." He says moving my hair behind my ear. He kisses me and I kiss back. Wait......... I push him off and back off. "Melody-." "No! I gotta go!" I walk off confused. I just cheated on Shane.

"Melody, we know for sure Kim was raped. Text me back sweetie! Kim's wrist is ok. She's sorry."

"I think he raped her too. Daryl saw her run from his room crying."
