Adrenalin ran through my body like it was blood. Whoops and cheers went on for at least 5 minutes and then died down. The speaker blurted to life "Now we have Ava Miller on the well-trained Controlled Fantasy!
Then the speaker died down and it was my turn. Mom urged me on in the stable before so I went into the arena and did my best. Since it was dressage I really wanted to do well, mom has always wanted me to go well in my dressage. She never really cared about jumping, so nor do I.
Since it was a 3-star event I couldn't have my test called out.
I remembered the test. But then something went terribly wrong. The fire alarm went off, even though everyone heard it the judges stayed in their box. People started running at the boxes shouting "The fire alarm! The fire alarm!" After about 2 minutes of getting yelled at the judges came out and called out to me "Your test is cancelled!" I was completely devastated. I finished my test off not wanting to ruin it and then trotted out. After the sirens were turned off, and they had checked there was no fire. Luckily the judges had seen the rest of my test, So I got 1st place, and the champion garland for my horse.
