"okay i have the results here. the person minx chose, is..."

"...ACE!"

holy shit,holy shit, holy shit.

"let's go! let's fucking go!" i cheered laughing in disbelief. i couldn't believe it, minx looked just as happy as i was as she was sitting there smiling broadly at the screen.

"alright before we reveal what ace picked, schlatt will you please tell us what you picked?" austin asked after a minute.

"...i chose love..." he announced with a smile. it was quite surprising to be fair but he took it well and we said goodbye as he left.

"okay minx it's come down to this, you've chosen your partner... their name is ace.. and they had a decision to make before the show.."

"for gods fucking sake austin hurry the fuck up!" minx shouted at the screen after the extremely long silence. to be honest i couldn't help but try and suppress a smile at her eagerness.

"okay pass me the paper... okay... she chose ... LOVE!" austin announced finally. minx immediately smiled as did i.

"does that mean i get all the views from this?" she asked.

"mhm, yeah of course." i replied smiling at my screen.

"you're so cute, i'll have to pay you back,"

"...you mentioned earlier something about pegging?" i replied finally with a smirk. her cheeks flushed

"well congrats minx, you've won love or host, you picked ace who chose love. i hope you have fun with your stream, i'm guessing ace will be joining you." austin congratulated nearing the end of the stream.

i was genuinely happy but something in my gut was bubbling away, telling me she only likes me as a friend and in the long run i'll ruin what we already have with my stupid feelings.

minx's stream was really fun we had a little minecraft date and played random games. we talked a lot about ourselves not too much as she was still streaming; mostly about hobbies and aims for the future; as well as a few embarrassing past experiences. we eventually ended stream but we decided to stay on call and talk a bit more after.

"minx can i, can i ask you something? also in advance i'm sorry." i spoke out suddenly deciding finally to come clean about how i feel.

"sure what's up?" she asked, a slight bit hesitant.

"well i, i like you okay? i've always thought you were attractive and stuff but after talking with you over the past few weeks i've got to know you on another level. you're funny you know how to make me laugh, make me feel better, you probably know how i like my coffee. you're just, you're perfect." i admitted rambling on.

"i like you too dipshit," she said immediately, laughing at my rambling, "also you like you're coffee black. you like the bitterness of it."

"jeez you really are perfect minx." i replied with a huge smile on my face, "what i said earlier, on text about flying over to see you, that wasn't really a joke. i have the money, would you still want me to fly over to see you?"

"are you fucking stupid?! of course i would! you can stay here at my place and i'll pick you up from the airport. is this a joke? cause if you're joking it ain't fucking funny."

"no! minx i'm serious! i'm looking for flights now... there's one on monday and it'll arrive in ireland at 11 in the morning and a return for a week later. is that okay?" i asked looking at the flight. it would be roughly an eight hour flight, maybe a bit less and i would have to get to the airport at probably 1am to get through security and stuff before the flight.

"yeah of course that's fine. i'll pick you up and then we can go eat or something on the way back." she replied a smile evident on her face; mine too.

me meeting minx in real life just feels like a dream at the moment and i couldn't be more happier. the flight was booked and everything.

saying goodbye to minx as it was getting a bit late, i headed upstairs to see if karl was still up or not streaming so i could tell him the news.
knocking on the door, it opened quickly and karl rushed out crushing me in a hug.

"you won! well minx did but i'm happy for you" he smiled as he let go of me, genuinely happy for me.

"i was watching the whole time. the thing with niki and schlatt kinda caught me off guard to be honest." he admitted as we entered his room seeking down in our chairs.

"yeah me too. definitely thought they hosted." i said agreeing with him, "i've also booked a flight to go see minx for a week..it's all planned out don't worry, we talked about it after her stream," i added knowing he would worry, "i'm staying at minx's and she'll pick me up from the airport."

"okay. i think it'll be weird not to have you round for a week but i'm happy for you. when's the flight?" he asked with a smile.

" 2am, so i'll have to get up early to drive down there. do you wanna come with? you don't have to it's like a three hour drive." i asked not really wanting to drive alone.

"yeah of course! you really think i would let you leave without seeing you off and saying goodbye?"

" i guess not... now's probably the time to also tell you iadmittedtoherthatilikedher." i rushed out quickly, not knowing how he would feel.
i had previously had a bad relationship and i'd distanced myself with karl a lot during it and i'd promised never to do that to him again, so i was hoping he would feel as happy about it as i do.

taking a minute to register what i'd said, his face lit up, "i knew it! i knew you liked her! what did she say? does she like you back" he asked jumping up, looking like some sort of fangirl.

"yes karl! she likes me back. why would she agree for me to come over if not." i stated, laughing at how excited he was.

"i'm so happy for you." he mumbled out into my hair as he brought me up into another hug.

we talked a bit more catching up before we headed of to bed as it was now extremely later and i was getting tired after the 5 hour stream i was just on.

getting changed into a random oversized sweatshirt and some shorts i hopped into bed, sending a goodnight text to minx before falling asleep with a small smile on my face.
