I went back upstairs to the room. I saw Collin in the hall after I got out of the elevator and saw him spray painting the word 'Losers' on my door. "Hey!" I yelled. "What are you doing?! I figured I'd have taught you a lesson by now. You get out of here by the time I say three or I'll have to get my dad." He looked at me surprised, at first. Then he smirked while walking towards me. Then, he realized it was me and stopped dead in his tracks.

"Look, I'm not lookin' for any trouble, miss. That thing between Violet and I was a personal issue and-" I cut him off. "A personal issue that it was okay to pound your fist into someone's face? A personal issue that you got the same smirk on your face when I yelled at you to stop? A personal issue that made it okay to physically hurt someone? I should probably call the cops on you!"

He nodded and silently walked off. Well that was easy. I quickly straightened my jean jacket. Suddenly, our hotel room door flew open, causing me to jump five feet in the air and out of my skin. Out jumped my dad, holding a brand new metal baseball bat.

"What are you doing?!" I screamed, scared to death. "I was, I, I, I-" he muttered. "I guess I just heard you yell,'I should call the cops on you' and panicked. I didn't want you to get hurt." He said. "I handled it, Dad. I am sixteen. I can handle things on my own." I replied. "I know, baby girl. I just don't wanna let you get hurt." Dads kind words hit my ears.

I then focused on our hotel room door. It had 'LO' on it and I'm pretty sure we'd have to pay for it. Dad looked over at what I was looking at and grunted. "Was that why I heard you yelling?" He asked. I looked down the hall and there were some kids messing around. I jumped again when Eric flew out of the bedroom door with another brand new metal baseball bat in hand.

"Okay, when did you guys get new bats and why do you keep scaring me out of my skin with them?!" I yelled. "Calm down. We got them at a sports store a while back." Dad reassured me. "Alright. I'm getting my purse and exploring the town." I told them. "Honey, you don't have a car." Dad reminded me. "I know. Eric will drive me." Eric spit out the sprite that was in his mouth.

"What?!" He said. "Remember the first time Sarah slept over? You said at dinner that you could tell that we would be the best of friends and that if we ever moved away you would drive me anywhere and everywhere I wanted." I told him. "I'll go get the keys." He muttered.

After him and dad fought, I finally got to go to the mall. I walked into Vanity and immediately fell in love with an adorable top and skinny jeans. "One-hundred twenty-two dollars and thirty-three cents," The lady at the front told me. I handed her the money as Eric groaned for the millionth time.

"You know, you could enjoy this and get yourself something." I told him as we walked out. "O. M. G." I stated and ran to the display and gasped. In front of me was the cutest Sparry's I'd ever seen. "I HAVE to get these shoes!" I told Eric. I went inside and luckily their last pair was my size! "Fifty-seven dollars and ninety-nine cents," the person told me. I gave them the cash. "Let's go." I said. "Thank the lord!" Eric yelled.

Thursday

It was Thursday. My first day of school. Yay. Right then my phone vibrated when I was still in bed.

Sarah: Sorry I haven't texted you. Been busy. Have a good first day!

Me: It's okay. I'll try.

Sarah: :*

Me: :*

At that I got up and got ready. My classes were on the sheet of paper I got yesterday. I hopped in Eric's truck and we got out in front of a high school. Just great.

"Sam? Samantha Evans?! Is that you?!" I heard my name and turned around to see the last person I expected to see only three feet away from me.
