It’s March 4, 2021 and it is 1 in the afternoon.

And here I am, lost in this gloomy forest full of sounds of different animals especially birds.

Hearing the rustle of leaves makes me feel at peace even though I’m lost in the middle of these towering trees.

For the 4th time, I looked around to find some way to get back home but I saw a ravishing flowers and trees with a fresh fruit in it while other are already rotten.

I chortled gently because of the sight of this amazing forest which I saw first time in my life. I started walking not knowing where to go and what to do.

It is literally quiet and the only thing I hear is my pounding heart because of the suddenly hiss of a snake nearby.

"Hell, no."

I run as fast as I can with no hesitation and no looking back. When I realized that I am far enough from the snake, I took a little break and sit under a tree.

I laughed realizing what I've experienced minutes ago.

Sitting under this big tree realizing that I have nowhere to go, I still can’t find a way back home.

Because of the boredom I felt, I looked around to find a pointy stick to be able to draw in this clammy ground.

Minutes passed and I saw a foot standing in front me as I was writing and drawing. I looked up and I was shocked and happy
because finally...

I will be going home.

The one that is standing in front of me is my mother.

She’s wearing her favorite satiny dress with a fresh fruit in her hand. She smiled and gave me the fruit, as if she knows already that I am hungry because I do not know how to determine a fruit if it is already ripe or not.

I smiled at her as I accept it.

She held out her hand and guide me to finally come back in our peaceful home.

Finally.
