The Beginning Of Detention

The school day went by quite fast, well faster than what I'm used too. I was leaving the classroom that I was in and went to my locker to grab something to eat because its gonna be a long time before I leave. I turned and looked beside my locker to see Skylar standing there with something in her hand. Skylar was holding something in her hand but I couldn't tell what it was. I slowly walked toward her. She looked up at me. I walked right up to her "Can you please move" I rolled my eyes at her. "Here" She handed me a package of some sort and then ran off. "Uh thanks I guess?" I was confused and looked down at it. Skylar had completely left my sight.  I opened the package and saw there was a photo of me and Skylar when we were younger and a old book me and her made. I looked at the stuff and smiled. After a few minutes of looking though the stuff I put it in my locker and then went to the janitors closet and opened it to see Raven standing there. "Grab some stuff and start cleaning the classrooms please" Raven handed me cleaning supplies. "Okay?" I grabbed it and walked to the nearest classroom then walked in. I looked up slowly and went to the white board and started to clean it. A few minutes have passed and I all of a sudden heard a loud bang. I turned around to see a table upside down in the back of the classroom. "Haha very funny Skylar" I sighed and saw Skylar at the doorway horrified. "I just walked into the r-room okay" Skylar was scared to move. "Yeah right just like all the other stuff you said you didn't do" I rolled my eyes. "I'm being serious about this one" She whined. Raven was right behind me "She didn't do anything". I turned and looked at Raven slowly "Okay" I sighed and walked to the table. Then it hit me Kate Richards haunts the science room "Um guys" I turned and looked at them. "What?" Raven spoke softly. "Yesterday I was doing some research for out English essay and I chose the schools history and turns out many people have died in this school and there are some famous ghost that haunt this school well after they died. My mom said one of my dad's friends was killed in this room her name was Kate Richards, she died because of a science accident with chemical formulas and she haunts this room" I looked at Skylar who was terrified "I'm pretty sure it's Kate's ghost because a boy died in the boy's bathroom next door to the science room, his name is Samuel Welsh he died by suicide" I turned and looked at the table again "But it maybe Samuel, who knows". Skylar nodded "My dad told me that a few dozen people died" She looked down sadly. "Yeah many had died in this school from what I saw" I picked up the table and fixed it. "What year did it shut down?" Skylar spoke softly just like Raven. "Pacifically September 8, 1994 and it re-opened after 5 years my mom said" I picked up a piece of paper that was on the floor. "Oh okay" Skylar left the room "I'm gonna just sit in the hall" She rolled her eyes. "You best work because I can tell the principal that you did nothing" Raven hissed. "I will I'm just tired" Skylar whined.  "Okay" Raven left and walked down the hall slowly humming something. I sighed and went to the front and started to clean more. After about 3 hour I had finished cleaning most of the classrooms and left the classroom I was in. I started walking down the hall but I started to have a feeling I was being watched. I walked down the hall and walked into the cafeteria. I glanced around the empty cafeteria and there I saw a figure that was see though, I then rubbed my eyes and it was gone. I then shrugged and walked to tables and started to wash them. A few tables later, I felt something touch my shoulder but it felt cold very cold. I stood there and heard something. Whatever that had their hand on my shoulder spoke "My child"in a creepy voice. I instantly knew it was my dad "D-dad" I cried a bit and turned around slowly and felt the coldness disappear. I sat down and cried. A few minutes went by and Raven walked in. "What happened?"  Raven walked to me and sat next to me. "I-I heard my dad" I cried more. "Oh okay" She put her hand on my shoulder "How do you know it was him?". I whined "His voice but his voice was a bit creepier sounding. My mom had a few videos of him and showed them to me" I looked down. "Oh well uh ok" She reached into her pocket and pulled out a chocolate bar "Here" She handed it to me. "Thanks" I grabbed it and opened it. Raven got up and left the cafeteria. I sat there at one of the tables and started eating the chocolate bar although I shouldn't have taken it but I was hungry and sad. After a few more minutes went by, I went back to cleaning but I heard a scream come from the gym so I ran to the gym and went in and didn't see anything in there so I went back to the cafeteria and saw all the tables were stacked on top of each other "Are you serious" I dropped my head down low and walked to the tables and pulled them down slowly, I then started to pull on this certain table but it wouldn't budge. I pulled on it harder but it still wouldn't budge. "Come on!" I pulled super hard and the table came crashing down on me then I screamed and blacked out.
