It was near midnight, Jeremy was heading off to his usual hangout.

Some people might say that a place like that was, an odd location to hangout, heck, they thought it was fucked up. Even Jeremy didn't think of himself visiting such a place. But he wasn't alone! Mike was there!

He smiled at the thought, and walked at the side of the street. Which was only paired with a bunch of old street lights. Normally they would flicker on and off this late, but they didn't which the teen found very odd.

The whole town was surely asleep by now. He balled his hands in his winter jacket, his hair is probably filled with tiny flakes of know, melting as soon as it made contact. His nose and cheeks probably a soft shade of pink. Surely his lips are chapped. To him, this doesn't occur rarely, this was practically his routine, going to who knows where to meet up with his co-worker / friend. And just talk, I mean that's what teens these days do,right?

Right.

A couple more blocks, his legs were starting to get tired, but dismissed the thought. Mike was probably there, waiting for him. Muttering all sorts of curses. Jeremy smiled at that, it seemed like a perfect mike scenario. He thought about his five months being friends with mike, it was honestly one of the best highlights of his life.

'Mike.'

He thought, he and mike had been really close the past months, the night guard even considered having some sort of feeling for his friend. Which made him flush at the sillyness of it. But he couldn't help but think of how mike had change his life to being somebody so out and shut down by the world to someone that could possibly have a better life, to having great friends.

The night guard's footsteps started picking up pace.

Mike, the person who hates children, but still has enough to deal with them. Mike, a person who constantly swears but knows weather a persons reached a limit.

Jeremy was practically running now, panting as he did so, just one more block.

Mike, someone who makes shitty puns, even though people thought of it as ridiculous, he still thought of them being funny. He is a person who takes both shifts, day and night.

His hands pushed open the heavy gates, they felt all frozen, rusted and old. He managed to slip in, tears were already starting to form in his eyes. Jeremy started coughing as he ran. There was a lump on his through, he passed several beds and had found what he had been looking for.

Mike Schmidt

Jeremy gripped the smooth stone, clutching it as if it was for dear life. He was crying. Pathetic. Stupid. Worthless. Piece of shit.

He screamed, his body was trembling. Why. Why was he like this.

"Mike!"

He screamed.

"M-MIKE!"

He chocked out, cluchting the ground, his fingers digging threw the dirt. His forehead leaned against the stone. It was cold.

"Mike..."

He mourned, chocking his sobs and whimpers. He didn't want it to happen, he didn't. He cried. Jeremy gasped for air, after every sob. He started hitting the flattened stone, shouting.

"Mike! Y-you a-asshole!"

He managed threw sobs.

"Y-you promised..." He whispered, and let his hand slip.

'You promised you wouldn't leave me.'
