Y/N Mercer, normal kid attending high school and excels in every class. Mostly finds his life boring and empty, seeing as he has never found anything meaningful or something to make him truly feel alive. Until one night, when after receiving a shot...
Y/N had woken up in his room, panting heavily as he placed his hand on his chest, terrified. Then his parents came bursting in through the his door with worried faces.
Y/N's Mom: "Y/N!?! What's wrong?!"
Y/N's Dad: "Are you hurt?! Are you alright!?"
Y/N: "I...I think so...I feel...I mean...I thought I died..." He says as he clenched his shirt.
Both Y/N's parents looked at each other and sighed heavily in relief. They both walked up to Y/N and sat on his bed before they suddenly hugged him tightly from both sides.
Y/N's Dad: "We're just so glad you're still with us kiddo..." He said with a low tone.
Y/N's Mom: "Yes...we were so scared when we heard that you were shot...I'm so glad you're alive..." She says with a relieved voice.
Y/N's Dad: "I was so surprised that you even made it...your wounds...I'm just happy you're still here."
Y/N was surprised by their reactions and felt oddly calm to himself. He soon returned the hug that they gave him. After a long loving moment had passed, they broke the group hug and Y/N's father clapped his hands together.
Y/N's Dad: "Now, who wants breakfast?" He said with a wide smile to ease the tension.
Y/N: "Good idea, I'm starving actually." He chuckled.
Y/N's Mom: "I could use a cup of coffee, I'm gonna need it for the amount of work I have today." She said with a slight yawn.
Y/N's sister then walked into the room and had a tired face.
Y/N's Sister: "Same here."
Everyone beside her laughed a little before they went to their rooms to change into their uniforms. Y/N went to put on his jacket over his uniform.

Y/N's dad was a doctor, Y/N's mom was a police detective, and his sister was the assistant president of the martial arts club, even taught Y/N some moves. Y/N's mom had made a delicious breakfast for everyone. Y/N started munching down his food, showing just how hungry he was.
Y/N's Sister: "Woah bro, you must be real hungry!"He said with a slightly surprised tone.
Y/N's Dad: "Don't eat to fast son, you might choke yourself."
Y/N then almost did choke himself with food and so took a sip of orange juice to force it down.
