Chapter 2

After school you, Manami, and Hinata all walk home together. Hayato and Daiki went out to dinner.

"My house is right up here. Bye!" Hinata waves.

"Bye!" Manami says with a forceful smile.

"Y/N? Can you keep a secret?" Manami asks. You look at her concerningly,

"Sure..?"

"I- I have a crush on hinata" Manami mumbles.

"Oh. Okay." You say. Suddenly, it felt so awkward just to be next to Manami.

"Can I have your number? You know, to keep you updated with Hinata and everything." Manami suggests. You exchange numbers and go inside your house.

"HELLO???" You shout.

"What-" You hear a deep voice coming from the kitchen. It's Tsukishima.

"Where's my pocky???" He gasps. "DID YOU EAT MY POCKY???"

"No. I gave it to your girlfriend." You mumble.

"You mean Lily?" He asks.

"So she is your girlfriend." You smirk evilly.

"No. I did not say tha-"

"KEI AND LILY SITTING IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-"

"SHUT UP." He screams,"Wait. Did she like the pocky though?" He asks.

"It was gone in seconds."

"Good. Okay bye now."

You walk to your room, laughing esarecally. You look at your phone to find a spamming of text messages from some group chat.

Manami: Hi! I decided to make a group chat :D

+(428) 205-7741: ok

Y/N: Who's on this group chat?

+(428) 739-8205: Shoyo Hinata :)

+(428) 928-4615: i'm hayato

+(428) 205-7741: daiki.

Manami: Manami :D

You change their contact names so you know who's who.

Manami: We should meet up at the park!

Hinata: Sounds awesome!

Hayato: shore

Daiki: ok

Y/N: Ok, see you there!

~Time skip at the park~

You go to the park to find Hayato, Daiki, Manami, and Hinata sitting at a bench.

"Oh hi Y/N." Manami mumbles.

"Hi." Hayato greets.

"I'm gonna go on the swings. Can someone push me???" Hinata asks.

"ME. I mean... sure. Whatever." Manami casually walks over to the swings to push Hinata.

"Ew..." Hayato gags, as she eats her doritos.

Manami starts to laugh at everything Hinata says even if it's not funny. Manami seems to be having a miraculous time.

"OKAYYYY LOVEBIRDS... WERE GETTING BOARDDD..." Hayato shouts.

"Okay. We can go to my house if you want!" Hinata offers.

"OOOOO! Okay!!" Manami cheers.

You all start walking to Hinata's house with him leading the way. It's awfully quiet until Manami decides to speak up.

"Hinata... I'm tired... can I have a piggy back ride???" Manami complains.

"Ummm... oka-" Before Hinata could finish his sentence, Manami hops on his back bringing him straight to the ground with her.

"OWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! HINATA HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??" Manami screams.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Hinata explains.

"You're the one that jumped on his back. He wasn't ready..." Hayato says helping Hinata up.

"Hinata's strong... he can hold me." Manami daydreams.

You look over at Hinata. Scratches, bruises, and blood cover his arms and legs. But then you look at Manami. She's perfectly fine. Not even a scratch.
