THIRD PERSON P.O.V

The battle for Thea had been won but at great cost.

The King of Camelot had been badly wounded and the Prince and Princess of Thea had yet to be seen. They had entered the castle and have yet to return making everyone uneasy.

They had lost many people knights and peasants alike. Arthur had recovered enough to be allowed to walk around and he tried to keep his men's spirits high as they continued to count the dead though he found it a grim task. He had lost many men but knew that it was nothing compared to what Thea had lost, he saw many more purple cloaks than red amongst the dead and wondered how Athena and Merlin were taking it. Arthur returned to Camelot a few days after the battle as soon as he and the Lady Morgana had recovered enough to attempt the journey, but had returned to Thea once he had gotten those who had survived the battle home to their families, he did not want to leave Merlin for too long.

It took a week for the smoke from the funeral pyres to die down and two weeks to clean/rebuild the houses that had been destroyed, and would have taken longer had magic not been involved.

Three weeks after the battle had taken place the people of Thea started to return, along with Queen Hunith who immediately started setting her kingdom to rights.

Two months had passed and the last of Ramsey's men had been jailed awaiting their trial.

Now it was time to celebrate and welcome back their true Royal family.

It was time to crown a new King....if only he would make a decision.

Merlin had turned twenty one a few weeks ago meaning that he was now of age to inherit the throne under his mother's guidance as was Thea's tradition. The only think was he hadn't quite figured out what he wanted.
