I sat there on the stool beside her bed, holding her hand as I caressed it. She looked so peaceful despite lying down on a hospital bed, having multiple wires attached to her and the tiring smell of the hospital.

"Yui-" Just when I was about tell her something, the door had opened and people barged in. It was the boys' volleyball team along with Shimizu and Yachi. I let go of her hand and greeted them. "I didn't know she had a fever during our joint practice, I'm sorry!" Sawamura apologized and bowed.

"I'm sure she'll-" I got cut off once again with him apologizing once again. I only nodded and told him thathe should say that once she wakes. Sugawara whispered something in his ear and he nodded.

Sawamura grabbed her hand, catching me off guard and apologized once again while he bowed. He decided to sit and hold her hand while doing so.

"Get your hands off her." Intrusive thoughts started flooding my head, the thoughts of killing him came but I shook my head. "I probably shouldn't think about that." I sighed and decided to go out.

Next week came, Yui was all well and out of the hospital. "Don't overwork yourself next time." I pat her back and she gave me a wide smile. "Yes, manager!" She chuckled and we both walked to our class. "Um.. Yn, did Sawamura-kun come by?" She shyly asked.

I swear my heart turned to dust the moment after she asked that question. I hated that feeling. I swear, all the girls I like are straight or they like other women, why can't we have world without men?

"Um yeah, he apologized. He was with the team and then left shortly after." I didn't like the way I was keeping stuff from her because it made me feel guilty. They also didn't leave shortly after, they spent two hours in the room and I came back a few minutes before they left.

She gave me a soft smile, "Do you like Sawamura-kun, Yn? It's fine if you like him too, you're the prettier one so he'd obviously choose you."

"..no." It barely came out as a whisper but she heard it, "It's fine if you can't admit it, I know you like him, Yn."

"No, Yui.. you don't get it. I don't." I avoided her gaze because I liked her and if it becomes obvious that I do, I'd probably go and delete myself.

She gave another soft smile before walking ahead. "If you like him, then just say so. I won't get mad and he'll choose you either way."

She didn't like getting spammed with messages and missed calls but I did so anyway, I asked her to come by my house and now here she is. "So, you really do-"

"No, Yui! Listen, I don't like him because I like someone else.." I frowned, still avoiding her gaze. She seemed excited and sat beside me. "Who is it?! Suga? Asahi? Ennoshita? Or is it N-"

I probably shouldn't have done it but I cupped my hands on both her cheeks and pulled her for a short kiss. I let her go, my hands still on her cheeks while she looked at me with wide eyes. "Wait don't tell me you like.. me.." She was still shocked at the sudden event.

"I'm sorry.." She suddenly stood up and walked outand yeah lol bye bye you got heartbroken and so? like okay and? chile this oneshot kinda crap
