Chapter 7: Dreamers haven
The receptionist gave avalyn a brochure which had showed that they were activities for the members registered. Avary got excited reading ten lists of activities that were presented. It suited her taste perfectly, that she couldn't help but let out a wide smile.
The receptionist looked at her satisfyingly seeing that they were someone who actually enjoyed looking at the activities they had presented. But she still had a little doubt in her heart.
Avary smiked at her and said softly "I would like to sign up. Can I keep this brochure" she asked.
"Yes no problem." The receptionist responded amd handed her a form to fill out.
After several minutes avary filled out the form and handed it to the receptionist.
The receptionist looked at the form and smiled she then typed something into the computer and headed into the room after a couple of minuites she called avary and they went into another room where they took a picture of avary.
Abut six minutes later she came outside and handed avary a name card. "This is our café's membership card, this is the recipet of the amount you have to pay to have full time membership."
Avary looked at the receipt and smiled. She then handed the her bankcard to the receptionist.
The receptionist then handed back the card to avary. "Thank you." She said and walked.
After doing all of that avary was a bit tired so she went and bought a bottle of water from the café and something to eat.
After finishing eating Ava headed to the library section and found a novel to read. After reading what it was about she found it interesting and decided to continue.
She was so lost in it that she lost track of time, whiles reading she was snapped out when someone took the book from her hands.
She turned around and was shocked "who..." seeing who it was she let out a smile.
She snatched the book out from his hands and asked"What are you doing here Jace?"
Jace smiled and sat down in front of her, "like you I'm reading." He replied,
You really need to pay attention to around you, suppose someone did something to you without you noticing?" He asked in a serious tone , which sounded a bit angry.
"No one would do that." Avary replied,
"What are you doing here alone?" Jace asked curiously handing Ava a cup of tea.
Ava smiled seeing the cup in front of her, it was her favorite jasmine tea.
"I felt bored at home, the penthouse is big it feels empty." She replied casually taking the tea in front of her and inhaling the scent before sipping it letting out a soft smile.
"I know how it feels..." he replied with a sad expression.
Seeing this Ava changed the topic, "ugh! It's this late already."
Jace looked at her and asked "What time did you arrive?"
Ava then tries to think "umm... I think... I arrived at 12PM..."
Jace looked at her shocked "so you've been reading for 3 hours?!"
Avalyn shook her head and answer, "yes... I was planning on doing other things today but I guess I got comfortable here." She looked down and took another sip of her jasmine tea.
Jace smiled as an idea comes up in his mind, "let's go somewhere." He suggested as he got up and stretched out his hands.
Avalyn looked at his hands and took it confusingly, "where are we going?" She asked as he pulled her.
"To have fun." He replied, and turned to look at her.
