Chapter 10: Who's that bastard?!

When he got there and examined her her pulse was very weak and was abnormal, he took her to the hospital to get further check up and they were both shocked at the result...

The doctor told them that avary was sick and had acute Lukemia. They were told that it spreads fastly around the blood cells and that it was serious. Luckily she was only at the first stage, now that it's been a year since she was diagnosed avary has been in and out of the hospital and was gonna through chemotherapy.

Ava raised her head up and glances at Marcus who felt he shouldn't have brought up their parents, and should have kept his mouth shut. "I'll think about it....they were not directly wrong and they did try to figure out what was wrong with me but..but-I did not tell them."

Marcus looked at her in which he was shocked. His little sister rarely ever admitted her mistake. He smiled at her "they are waiting for your call..." he sad smiling.

In a private ward

Jace looked at his mother's pale face, "mom you were sick why did you not tell me?" He asked naggingly

"I'm sorry, I just stayed out in the cold a little late," she said in a sad tone,

"I don't blame you..." he replied with a worried smile.

"Just tell me if you're sick..." he assured. "I'll go and get something for you to eat" he said

His mother nodded in agreeing and he left. Walking down the hall Jace eyes fell on a familar person existing a doctors office.

"Ava..." he mumbled looking at Avary who was now coming out of the office.

Unknowingly and subconsciously he followed the two towards near the exit of the hospital. Jace his behind a near corner and listened closely to what they were saying.

Avary hugged Marcus and he kissed her on her forehead. They then bid farewell.

Jace stood in the corner shocked,  sad, angry! Who was the guy that? Why did he kiss her on her forehead, she even hugged him?!! What the hell was happening? Questions after Questions filled jace's head. He did not know what to do he felt his heart tearing away when she hugged him

Jace backed off and headed to his mother's ward feeling down.
"Oh you're back Jace." Jaces mother (janette) said happily, "Martin ken and Bruce all came to check up on me." She said happily.

Jace walked over to the couch in the ward "yeah..." he mumbled,

"What's wrong with him?" Martin thought.

Martin walked over to Jace "Hey dude are you okay?" Martin asked sitting down.

Who was that bastard! How dare-dare him k-kiss her!!?? I could just go find him and beat the hell out of him!!
Jace thoughts were running wild, he has no idea why he cared so much if she hugged that doctor. But he wanted to grab him by the colar...
He gritted his teeth and formed a cuff holding his anger.

"What's wrong with you dude?" Martin asked again,

Jace jumped out of the couch and snapped at Martin, "NOTHING IS WRONG OKAY!! SO WJAT IF SHE HUGGED HIM, WHY THE HELL SHOULD I CARE!!" He shouted.

Everyone looked at him dumbfounded, they had no idea what was wrong at fist but when Jace mentioned her they felt it had something to do with Avalyn.

Jace left the ward in anger. He then left the hospital where he bumped into Marcus who was speaking to a nurse.

He glared at him with anger and rage but snapped out of it when Bruce showed up and touched him.

Jace jumped and turned around.
