Chapter 4

"Kirito tell her you like me!" Asuna shouts. she was pushing her luck. You were already mad and now look at this chick testing your already low patience!

"You better watch it girl. You can't just walk into our lives and take what we care about! That is....unless you want to be beaten." you smirked evilly at that. If it was a fight she wants then its a loss she will get.

"Is that a challenge? You are going to try challenge me! As if you were strong enough to put a dent in my health."

Now she was just bragging. You sent her a duel request and pulled out your sword. You were going to show her what defeat looked like. She accepted and the battle started. You charged up and dashed at her. She barely had time to even notice you. You cut her across the stomach sending her flying back. You were fast and strong. She got up and ran at you. her health was close to red now. She charged at you hitting your arm and while she passed you, you took your chance to whip around and strike her. She fell to the ground, rendering her defeated and you bearing a winner's mark over your head. You walked over and grabbed her by the back of the hair and crouched down.

"Now, think twice before bragging about something that isn't true. If you 'love' Kirito so much drag your pathetic and defeated ass over to him and tell him. Or is he not good enough for you? I'll tell you one thing though, I love him." you whispered the last part just to her. You dropped her hair and stood up. Frowning down at her sprawled out body, you walked away with a victorious smirk.

You took your victory into town and bought dinner for the three of you.

"Wow (y/n). You were awesome! Only getting hit once is pretty much a flawless victory!" Sean gushed at you while stuffing his face with spaghetti.

"Thanks Sean!" you glance over at Kirito. "You're being oddly quiet today. Whats wrong?"

"Lets talk outside. Sean we will be back you just chill out." Kirito looks over at Sean before grabbing your hand and pulling you outside.

"Okay we're outside. Now what was it you needed to talk to me about?" before you could figure out what was happening he crashed his lips onto yours. You were shocked but simply melted into the kiss. He pulled away staring into your (e/c) eyes.

"Did you really mean it when you said you loved me?"

"How did you hear me say that. I thought I said it quiet enough that nobody but that tramp could hear it."

"You did. Its just, I have a really high hearing skill."

"Ohhhh. And yes I did mean it. You're the coolest guy ever and if staying with you ment dying, then I would be happy to spend my remaining time with you." you leaned in and kissed him. He pulled away to talk.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"YES!!" you flung yourself at him. He wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you off the ground and spun. He let you down and kissed you.

"Should we tell Sean. Ya know him being my brother in all we should at least tell him."

"Yeah but don't do it right now. It would be weird tell him tomorrow."

"Okay!"

*Time Skip* (boss fight)

"WAIT (Y/N) DON'T DO IT!!!!" Sean yelled at you as you ran towards the giant blue demon boss. It swung it sword at top speed. It would have made contact with you. If Sean wouldn't have jumped in the way. His arms were in a defensive stance. He was flung at you and you two went barreling back towards a wall. You and his body collided with the wall at top speed and you lost consciousness. All you knew was that one of you were badly injured.

*Time Skip* (Infirmary)

You woke up and looked around. You seen a sleeping Kirito on the bedside chair.

"K-Kirito? What...What happened?" your voice strained and choked as you spoke.

"Mmmm what?" he yawned and stretched. "Oh (y/n), you're awake."

"What happened?"

"You tried to kill the demon boss. You were almost killed. If Sean wouldn't have blocked its sword you would've died. How could you be so reckless (y/n)!?!"

"Where's Sean!?!"

"He died protecting you...I'm sorry (y/n). I could have done something." he put his head in his hands and started crying.

"Whaaaa? You're lying! TELL ME YOU'RE LYING!!!!"

"I'm sorry. But its true."

You put your head down and cried. You layed in the bed and weeped and mourned your brothers death. Kirito crawled in with you and tried to comfort you. You eventually cried yourself to sleep. and thats all you remember.
