"Catch banger!"
He shouted as he threw a bottle of water at me. It almost hit my face reason why I gave him a death glare. He just laughed at me and gave me a wink.
I responded at him with my raised middle finger while drinking a water. I saw him laughed again and walked closer to me.
"Bullseye!" I announced and smirked when he got hit by the empty bottle that I threw.
"Bad banger," Owen said and sat beside me. "Nalaman ko lang na may gusto ka sa'kin nananakit ka na," he added and looked at me with a playful smile.
"Don't call me banger," I said with emphasis. "I have my own name."
I ignored his second words but that doesn't mean that it's nonsense. It's true that I like him but I hate the way he act since he knew about it.
"Chill Louis," he said and putted his head on my shoulder. I immediately removed it and rolled my eyes.
I hate his action. He always shows motive. He always makes me fall harder and I don't like it.
"Pero bagay naman banger diba. Saktong sakto kaya," he complained and grabbed my drum stick and play drums. "Like this oh. Bang bang bang!" he demonstrated with the head bang.
"See banger," he grinned and putted his head again on my shoulder. I just sighed and didn't waste some effort to remove it.
"May class nga pala ako this next hour. Tapos naman na ang practice natin, right?" he asked while looking at his wrist watch. I just gave him a simple yes and play with my drum stick.
He stood up and grabbed his bag then looked at me again.
"I know that you don't have a class anymore. You can wait me here right? Sabay tayo mamaya 1 hour lang naman class ko," he said then gave me a wink and flying kiss before he left.
What was that for?
I got startled when I heard my phone ring and that moment I realized that I was dumbfounded and smiling like an idiot. I looked at the caller's name and answered it when I saw that it was my bestfriend.
"Why?" I said to her.
"Ay hello rin bes. Miss you too. Tsk! Gandang bungad ah," she sarcastically answered.
"Thank you," I teased. I felt her annoyance which made me laughed.
"Where are you? Uwi na tayo. Wala na rin akong class," she said. I was about to grabbed my bag when I remembered something.
"Una ka na may aasikasuhin pa ako. 'Wag mo na akong hintayin matatagalan ata ako." I lied.
"Ay sige, ingat. Una na ako ha," she said and end a call.
"Then now I'll wait for 1 hour in this place alone," I spoked to myself.
I decided to play the instruments that were in our music room while waiting for him. I just stopped when the door opened and saw him.
He waved his hand and walked closer to me.
"You really wait for me huh," he said with a smile.
"I felt asleep kanina kaya naabutan mo pa ako rito," I reasoned. He just laughed at me and said that it's a lie.
"Let's go?" he asked and offered me his hand. I accepted it and looked at him. He also looked at me and smiled which made my heart beat faster.
I'm falling deeply.
"Echo!" I was back in reality when someone startled me. Golly! I was thinking again about what happened yesterday.
"Keila!?" I said in a surprised tone. What's my bestfriend doing here?
"Ba't andito ka?" I asked. She's not a member of a band that's why I wondered why she's here.
"Kasi this early morning nameet ko si Mike, your bassist. If I'm not mistaken Jason real name niya. He saw me playing guitar and he recruited me kasi need niyo rin daw ng isang member. May umalis ata sa inyo e. He asked me if I want to be part of a band. I guess that's an opportunity so I grabbed it and here I am!" she explained with enthusiasm. I was happy to hear that. Finally, mas madalas ko ng makakasama ang bestfriend ko.
"So what's your prefer stage name?" I asked her. We have stage name and I'm Echo.
"I chose letter S, Sierra," she answered.
"Alpha! Sa wakas naman dumating ka na 'no. Hindi kami pumunta rito para maghintay sa'yo," Jason blustered. Owen just laughed at him and gave him a man hug.
"Relax Mike bro!" he said and putted his bag down. Maybe he noticed that I'm looking at him that's why he turned his gaze to me and he smiled at me.
"Hi there banger!" he greeted. I just gave him a salute using my drum stick.
"New member nga pala Owen. Kapalit ni Jake," Jason said referring to my bestfriend. Owen took a glance on her which was sitting beside me.
"Hi! I'm Keila, stage name is Sierra. Louis' bestfriend," she introduced. Owen walked toward us and also introduced himself.
"Oh! You're her bestfriend. I guess I should be good to you. Owen here, Alpha's my stage name, the vocal." he said and offered his hand for shake hands.
Weeks past and Owen was starting to be part our friendship. He always go with us. And as for Jason, he's still busy headed. Always leaving immediately after practice.
"Concert done!" Jason announced after we returned to the back stage. "So what's the plan?" he asked.
"Bar?" Keila suggested. We didn't want to be drunk because we need to attend classes tomorrow so we decided to stay on just one house. We all agreed on it and we chose Owen's house.
"Kuha lang ako ng pagkain inubos niyo na agad e," said Jason. We were at the theater room of this house watching some mystery/thriller movie.
I was busy watching and trying to solve the case presented in the movie when my phone vibrated. I looked at it and saw a message from Jason.

"Kunin ko lang 'yong mga pagkain sa baba. Jason texted me and he's on his way home. Emergency came up," I said.
"Dalian mo masosolve na nila 'yong case," Keila said. I just nodded and walked downstairs.
I almost forgot where the way to the kitchen was so it took me a while. I hurriedly walked upstair. I opened the door and immediately looked at the movie.
"Ano ng nangyari? Nasolve na b-" my words got cut off when I saw Keila and Owen.
His left hand was holding my best friend's face while the other was holding her hand.
"I like you," Owen said.
How about me? What am I to you? I thought it was me.
No. It's not just my thought because you're the one who made me think that it was me who you like.
My sight began to blur and tears of pain started to stream down my face. All I could feel was pain. I was a fool. I was a fool to fall for his words and sweet gestures.
I saw them. I saw my bestfriend.... closed her eyes... responded to his kiss. I saw him... kissing my bestfriend... happy of what they're doing.
I felt betrayed.
I started to bite my lower lips to stop my sobs and left the room quietly. I went outside and let all the pain comes out.
I was comforting by the stars in the sky when thought whirled through my head reason to more tears raced down my cheeks.
Star. My bestfriend is your star.
I'm not an Echo and she's not Sierra.
Instead she's your star and I'm just an extra.
