RITSUKO'S POV

I wish this didn't have to happen this way. We could have been happy just as a regular team who meets up with their friends over dinner in between hunting grimm, not this. Anything but this. Is it too much for me to want to ask for a normal life? I thought about wishing my life at that moment could turn out differently.

"Something is going on outside of the grimm invasions that the headmasters and headmistresses have been hiding as to not scare the civilians. There are a couple of things that we need to talk about. Let's start with the main threat that you all should be dealing with there was a man named Anam Dorcha who had the idea to create artificial grimm, that would be able to be controlled by the schools. Many people believed that he had lost his mind and that no one should ever try no mess with grimm DNA, and that it would cause more problems than not." Headmaster Ozpin stared out while I sighed knowing what he was about to talk about since I had heard it multiple times. "The leaders and headmasters decided that it was too high of risk so they told him to scrap the idea. But when the leaders told him no he decided that he would continue and bought an island in the middle of the Sea of Vytal that no one knew of and stayed there." He was saying when someone interrupted him "Headmaster sorry to interrupt but what does this have to do with us?" Shawn asked standing up since we all had sat down sometime in the middle of his speech. "Great question mister Amulet but before I answer that let's hear if anyone else has a question." Ami raised her hand and after getting permission stood up and said "He succeeded didn't he? And the grimm killed him didn't they?" Ami asked with a look in her eyes that showed that she had an idea as to what might be happening right now. "Yes, Miss Kia he did. They mutated and developed abilities very similar to semblances although they are still mindless and do not have an aura. But they are almost impossible to kill." He said. Thank goodness he hasn't told about the maidans yet. If I'm lucky he might forget about the whole thing. I thought hoping that would happen. "Sir what's our role in all of this? Because from what you have told us it seems that it is a threat that should be long forgotten." Declan asked skeptically refashioning what Shawn said all the while looking at me testing to see my reaction. "Good question had everything played out as it should have we would not be here right now and we would have had more time. Instead, a group known as the Pavojus seemed to have gotten the help of the Posuit." Headmaster Ozpin said while referring to the legend. "With all due respect sir, I thought that the Posuit had disbanded and posed no threat anymore." Ami said nervously. I wonder why she got so nervous when he brought them up. They are only a group of street thugs at worse and thieves at best. No need to worry unless you've gotten in their way when they're robbing something, then they may kill you. "A good question Miss Kia we have gotten reports from an insider that they are slowly coming back in tenfold, with help from an outside source. But for now, let's get back to your question Mister Arden which ties into yours as well mister Amulet. I shall go in order of your team name Shawn first then Ami, Declan would be next followed by Ritsuko." He said I guess fate is not on my side today. "Shawn your records show that you are a very good strategic who has beaten some of the best strategic minds known to humanity." The headmaster said which wow beaten all of the best minds in that field is amazing. "Geez thanks, it's was no big deal really." Shawn said while trying to play it off. "It is a very big feat Mister Amulet the only other person to have done something like that was the person who is currently on the team that was previously doing this job." He said while I looked over while thinking about team PROGRES two teams that were merged after one of them died while fighting a grimm. "Oh well, what happened to them? Or are you just calling us in because they died?" Ami said deadly calm about this whole thing, which I was kinda scared about because I hadn't seen her this calm when talking about people dying. "They are still alive but your team is needed since you all can do something that they can not." The headmaster said to get Ami to breathe and think rationally. "I guess that makes sense but what do you mean that we can do something that they can't?" Shawn asked. "There are a couple of legends that we need to discuss. The main reason why you all are here is that there was a legend about the team that would put an end to the grimm and the dark shadow that is the cause for some of the accidents that we have blamed on the grimm. So once you all became team SARD they decided that they wanted your team to help them. Now let us refocus on the main reason why you all are here, Shawn your job is strategic you will make the plans and make sure that you all are going in the right direction. Ami your role is the scout, you need to find out where the bases are based on what we have in the file and make sure that they are being used so we aren't going around in circles. Then you will relay that information to Shawn. Declan your job is piloting the Harepan since you are the best pilot in training with a flying score of 99% with only 1% of the time that you crashed the only other person who had a score like that was Pérak the leader of team PROGRES you all will see Harepan as soon as team PROGRES gets here since it was their old ship. Ritsuko your job is very important as the Fall maiden people will still be after you but now it will be twice as hard since you will also have the Relic of Choice. You will all be training with team PROGRES you will continue your studies as normal until they get here. Once they do you will do haft the classes you did before. Now it is time to tell you the reason as to why you all have to be the ones to do this." He said getting ready to tell the tale while everyone got reseated.
