Four years later ( it's after they got Eren back from Marley )

"I can't believe Eren did that! He killed all of those people!" Jean exclaims angrily as we all land back on the ship.

"Yeah, he killed all those innocent people. And put us in danger too." I say while getting through my hair.

I now have short hair, which is a bit longer than a pixie cut.

"Who cares if they're dead. We won, this is something we should celebrate about!" Floch says cheerfully and everyone started cheering.

"Why exactly is he here again?" I ask annoyed and the others just shrug.

"Hey guys, did you hear that?" Sasha asks while looking around, making me frown.

"Can you shut up there for a second?" I ask Floch and the other scouts but they ignore me.

I suddenly hear a noise coming from the doors, so I turn around to look at them. There's a girl all of sudden with..a gun.

"Look out!" I yell before the girl shoots in Sashas direction.

I quickly push her away, which makes the bullet hit me, right into the right side of my stomach. Right after the bullet hits me I fall on the floor. I hear another gunshot but after that it's complete silence.

"Ymir!" I hear Sasha yell as she kneels down next to me.

I slowly turn my head to look at her and she quickly places her hands on my wound, trying to hold as much blood in as possible.

"You saved my life." She breaths out shocked and I smile softly.

"Y-You still need to see Niccolo. You two are made for each other." I stutter and she smiles while tearing up.

"My chances of surviving this gunshot is higher as yours. I-I couldn't just let one of my best friend die." I tell her and her eyes widen.

"I-I'm one of your best friend?" She asks shocked and I nod with a small chuckle, which I instantly regret because it hurts.

"Quickly, bring some bandages! Hurry!" Jean yells as he rushes over to me too.

"You know the queen will kill you when she finds about this, Floch." Connie says, making him scoff.

"Why is this my fault now?!" He exclaims angrily.

"If you weren't that loud we would have heard those kids!" Connie yells.

"What happened?!" Levi asks as he and Hnage rush towards us.

"Two kids got on the ship and the girl just started shooting." Jean explains and some scouts wrap bandages around my stomach.

"Ymir, you need to hang on until we're back on the island, okay?" Hange says and I nod quickly.

"You can't die, Ymir. What about Historia? I-I thought you wanted to propose to her when we're back." Sasha says nervously, which makes me smile.

"You were going to propose to her?" Levi asks shocked and I give him a small nod.

"But..I guess I'll have to wait until I can get on my knee again.." I mumble before closing my eyes.

"Hey hey, don't close your eyes. You need to stay with us." Connie says, so I slowly open my eyes again.

"I-I think I'm actually starting to heal again. But it's really slow." I mutter, making him smile a little.

"And the process really hurts." I add before whimpering in pain.

"Here, look what you've done!" Jean says as he brings those two kids with us.

Both of them look down at me with wide eyes, especially the girl who shot me.

"She's one of yours, you know. When she was your age she got turned into a titan. She wandered around for 60 years until she..um..became human again." Jean tells them, leaving them shocked.

"She's eldian?" The girl asks shocked and he just nods.

"Jean, it's okay. I know she didn't shot me on purpose. She probably hoped to just hit someone. And to be honest, I'm glad it was me because I have the best chances to survive this. I don't know what would've happen if she hit Sasha." I say and she looks down, being..ashamed?

"They hit you pretty bad, huh?" I ask as the boy touches his cheek and flinches at the touch.

"Can someone help them?" I ask and everyone frowns at me.

"You know the girl just shot you, right?" Connie says confused.

"Guys, they're just kids." I reply and he sighs.

"Okay, someone help them." He yells and some scouts quickly run to us.

"Why are you so nice to us?" The girl asks confused, so I turn my head to look at her.

"Well..I didn't had a good childhood, so I guess I don't want any other kid to experience the same. And well..my girlfriend helps orphans by giving them a home and playing with them." I explain and then slightly wince in pain again.

"G-Girlfriend?" I glance over to the boy and nod in response.

"Yeah..she's the love of my life." I say and then carefully grab something out of my pocket, trying not to hurt myself as much as possible.

"Ymir, are you seriously having a conversation with them?" Jean asks but I just sigh before shushing him.

I then take out the engagement ring out of my pocket and open the little box to show it to the kids.

"I was about to ask her to marry me, you know." I say and they both gasp.

"I-I'm so sorry! If I knew I-" The girl suddenly starts to cry out.

"Hey, I already told you, it's okay. I'll get my chance." I tell her softly.
