I was woken up by my mums subtle voice calling down the hall and as soon as I opened my eyes the slightest I was dazzaled by the bright beams of the sun sneaking through my blinds. It was a cold winter morning and I found myself still in a cacoon of covers and blankets to keep me warm. My room was filled with the scent of cold hot chocolate that I had the night before and some still remained in the mug.
My mother charged through the door and reminded me what today was and how I needed to get up and pack. "Come on,chop chop they're expecting us to be there before midday." Her voice spoke in a loud manner, she did this to blame me if we were late and she'd say it was all my fault and go in a mood with me, this happened a lot.
I somehow managed to drag myself out of bed and throw some clothes on and scrape the rest of my clothes into a suitcase, when my mother saw how I hadn't bothered to fold them and put them in, she foiled the suitcase over and made me do it all over. How can she expect me to be bothered on a saturday morning?
I furiously dragged my suitcase down the stairs that spiralled down a wooden beam in the centre. I just walked really lazily just letting my case follow behind me as it crashes into anything that was in it's way causing my arm to jolt which frustrated me even more. Now the depressing look on my face was even worse as when I reached the front door my mother gave me a look, as if to say that she is ashamed to be seen anywhere with me as I don't give much thought to my appearance.
