Gone

The party

This is the story of a young girl named Amy, she was in year 10. She had been invited to a party that everyone was going to. But she new her mom would say no. She was still going to ask anyway. That night she returned home , she felt nervous to even ask her mom. She got in the door and ran to her bedroom without saying anything to her mom. She got changed and finally went downstairs. There her mother was cooking dinner, Amy thought that if she was really nice to her mom then there might be a chance she could go. She sat down at the table and gave her mom a gentle smile , "hello" her mom said and gave a huge grin " I'm making pizza and chips for dinner .. Your favourite " Amy looked closely at her mother and replied "thanks." there was tension in the room and it all went silent. Then Amy's mom gave her a reassuring smile and whispered "we've got chocolate." Amy could tell that something was wrong because Amy's mom wasn't normally this nice , sometimes they would even argue. but still this made Amy feel better about asking her mom. "dad isn't coming back tonight because he's stoping at your Nan's " Amy was shocked but instantly she realised why her mom was being nice it's because something has happened between her mom and dad. Amy didn't say another word for a while until dinner was done. Then she said thanks to her mom and was ready to ask."mom.."
"Yes love "
"Well there's a party coming up and everyone is coming pleaseeeeee can I go"
"..And.. where is this party "
"Well it's at a old house someplace by the forest"
"Who's party is this"
"Is jacks in my year"
"I'm sorry dear but no"
"But mommm.."
"Why would I let you go to a party at a random house in the woods ?"
"Everyone's going"
"I said NO! And that's that"
"Please"
"NO"
"Why don't you ever let me do anything" with that Amy took her food and went to her bedroom slamming the door behind her.

She couldn't go to school and say she wasn't aloud to go people would laugh at her. Then she decided she had to go.

The next morning she walked to school, at breakfast still not saying anything to her mom. she kept wondering how she would get to the party but she decided to clear it from her mind. When she reached school she headed to her best mate Ellie , they had been best mates for 13 years and they weren't going to split up now. Amy explained to Ellie how she wasn't allowed to the party but somehow she was going to get there. Ellie helped her think of ideas. until one sounded good. on the night of the party Amy was gonna sleep at Ellie's. From there they would both go to the party without telling Amy's mom. It was the best plan but it would work...
