However the Captain was clear on his last statement: San and Yeosang couldn't go on their own, they needed somebody else to accompany them, at least two more of the crew.

Straightening his white shirt, the Captain slowly walked to a corner of his office and reached at the third top shelf of his bookcase, he retrieved an old-looking dark wooden cup, tipping it over his desk.

Two dice slightly damaged by time rolled over the yellowing charts with a muffled, soft clacking.

"Mingi, go and call the others." He turned to the quartermaster who, without a second thought, was out the door fetching the others as per ordered.

The Captain sat again on his chair, his arms nonchalantly folded over his chest patiently waiting for him to return.

Just as San scooted closer to you, seemingly to ask you something, the door swung open to Mingi and the last three missing members of the crew, a vaguely confused look concealed in their eyes.

"Good," The Captain stood up "We need two more of you to accompany San and Yeosang to Avalon. The dice will help us decide who of you will have the most luck. Whoever scores the highest numbers will depart as soon as we dock at Málarbella's Bay."

Mingi kicked himself off of the wall about to sit and make himself comfortable on the chair just below the window when the Captain stopped him with a gesture of his hand "You're going to play too, Mingi."

Wooyoung remained at the back behind everyone, leaning on the door and listening with strained ears to what the Captain was saying, behavior that was quite strange for an exuberant personality like his.

He squeezed his way though the congestion of bodies until he reached the desk, right beside Mingi whose figure menacingly towered over his much smaller and thinner one.

"I'm rolling first!" His voice bubbled up to your ears, earning a sigh from Yeosang who had his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose.

Wooyoung jumped on his feet side to side in an excited manner as his avid hands bolted to reach at the dice to shake them in his clammy palms.

He was sick of always staying aboard that 'floating piece of wood' as he called the Captain's ship, words that could get him a couple bullets right between his eyes by both the Captain and the quartermaster if he really were to say them out loud.

He thought that if he rolled first, he could get better chances of winning as he could watch the others throw after him.

Not a very brilliant strategy, though.

His tongue slipped through his lips and rested at the side of his mouth, he was concentrated on putting all his effort on rolling the right numbers, putting all his luck to use to ensure victory.

2 and 4.

His fierce expression fell off his face at the second the dice stopped tipping, his lips forming into a frown. 6 wasn't a big number at all for a two dice's sum.

A hand shoved him to the side and the next person took his place and proceeded to roll, as well as everyone else.

Eventually it came to you. You didn't know wether it was better to loose or win. Of course, if you happened to loose you didn't have any other choice but to continue what you had been doing for the past days, a task that actually grew on you pretty well, but, on the other hand, if you actually managed to win, you could have the chance to get lost in the crowd, cut and run, be free again.

The fact of not having memories shouldn't discourage you, you could always build a totally new persona and live to the day, erase everything you had to do with witchcraft and pirates and begin a life made up of quiet beach walks and fishing for self-sustainment.
