That was the most classy ball room in New York she got to know about this because her best friend Alexia as a fashion designer and a daughter of influential people she obviously knew there.
Alexia has been there thousands of times because while she went there she had the opportunity to flaunt her designs but whenever Alexia invited Anna, Anna always had office work to attend to, so Anna had never gone there before.
"Uhmm I would have loved to ....." before she could even complete her sentence, Leo already cut in cause he knew what she was about to say "I won't take No for an answer so by 7pm I'll come pick you". Anna knew this guy was been serious so she had no other option left than to say Yes.
Leo walked her to the roadside and then insisted that he drop her off, she couldn't say No cause her feet were weary and she couldn't stand here for long waiting for a cab.
"Did you like the flowers and the shoes I sent" Leo asked dirfting away from their actual topic. Anna gave him that shocked face because she gave the package and flowers to the the receptionist.
"Oh so you are the anonymous gift sender "hmmm"But I'm sorry to burst your bubbles I didn't open the package, I gave everything to the receptionist cause there was no way I would have known it was you but even if I knew it was you I wouldn't have still accepted it" Anna said.
"Tch! I just wanted to replace the shoe that got damaged because of me" Leo said.
"I didn't tell you I needed a replacement" Anna replied
"You don't need to tell me before I'll get a replacement but no worries, I'm sure the receptionist will love it" Leo said
"Tch!...."
"We're here already, so don't forget 7pm I'll come pick you" Leo said before Anna got down. "Thank you" She said as he drove off, she really had to do it cause this time he deserved it tho.
He gave her a smirk cause he didn't expect a thank you from her.
Anna stood outside for a while cause she was thinking of what to wear, she didn't have a ball gown so what she going to wear. Then an idea stroke her to ask her best friend for help since she was a fashion designer she would have a ball gown.
Before she could even enter the the balcony she noticed Alexia's car drive in. Alexia immediately parked her car and got down. Alexia gave Anna a warm hug then said "So my best friend has got a personal lift" Anna didn't expect Alexia to see Leo on the way.
Anna let out a light chuckle then said "You better quit being silly and come in cause I need you help".
"Yes ma'am" Alexia replied
