from time to time
i started realize something
i should have realized
a long time ago,
to avoid a lot of pain.
i never needed you,
and i never will.
the only person i will always need,
is myself.
and from now on,
that is the only thing i will focus on.
because without loving myself,
how can someone ever be able
to love me back?
