Serene's POV:
"You can call me Sebastian "
I stood rooted to my spot and then folded my arms and just refused to respond to this monster.
"You have alot of fight in you, it's alright I like that about you"
I scoffed at him and took a step back
"You don't even know me. My mate will be here soon and when he does come , you're going to pay "
Hopefully until then my own strength comes back so I can at least have some chance at surviving this. Clay please get here soon .
"Your mate won't make it in time , it will be to late"
"What is that supposed to mean , are you going to kill me ?"
Even as I asked it I'm terrified, having to die here all alone without my family or Clayton .
"Why would I kill you my dear ? You're what I need to survive "
Survive? Why would he need me ? I start to move away again but he traps me between himself and the door
"W..why do you need me to survive?"
I looked straight at his eyes and they flashed gold for a moment then he started laughing like a maniac but then again been locked away for so long would make one go crazy . He face goes serious all of a sudden and he stares straight into my eyes
"It's your blood that brought me back and so it shall be your blood that sustains me . You see Serene I need you still and the only way to keep you by my side is to make you my queen. "
I manage to push him of me then laugh because becoming his queen is never going to happen
"What makes you think that I will willingly become your queen"
I give him the most defiant face I could muster and yet he still smiles
"I knew you would defy me and reject my offer so I'm going to prepare a special ritual that will give you no choice but to be bonded with me forever"
Before I can say anything I feel a tug at my mind and knew instantly that it's Clayton
'Clayton are you there?'
'Yes love . Are you alright?'
'Yes but you have to hurry . I'm at an old castle, it's still surrounded by the Forrest so I can't be to far'
'I know exactly where you are , don't worry I'm on my way . I Love You '
'I love you too'
I smiled despite my situation, clayton's given me hope and now I'll use that to fight until he gets here.
Clayton's POV:
(Just after Serene was taken)
She sacrificed herself to save her parents , she was taken and I wasn't even there to help her . I can't mindlink her either which means she was drugged and her wolf is weak, this is bad . I have to get to her before they hurt her even further. Both Ryan and Rose walk toward me and I already know what they are going to say
"Listen guys I'm trying to stay calm okayy but she's alone out there and I need to find her "
Ryan takes a hold of my shoulder
"We know mahn but staying calm will be more helpful okayy"
I take a breath and listen to Ryan and calm myself . I go to sit down and clear my mind , hoping to reach Serene through our bond.
(Moments before he mindlinked Serene)
It's been an hour already and I'm still not able to reach her . I decide to go outside and clear my head once more but all I can think about is those Vampire's with their filthy hands all over my mate and that just agitates stormshadow. I look up to the sky at the stars above then move my head to the moon and gaze deeply into it until finally I feel something, it's Serene . I can reach her now , I concentrate a little harder because the connection is still weak but finally I hear her sweet voice
'Clayton are you there?'
'Yes love . Are you alright?'
'Yes but you have to hurry . I'm at an old castle, it's still surrounded by the Forrest so I can't be to far'
'I know exactly where you are , don't worry I'm on my way . I Love You '
'I love you too'
I rush over to my parents and tell them where Serene is and both my dad and Serene's dad get the packs together . We change into our wolfs and rush towards Serene , those Vampires are going to pay.
Serene's POV :
(After her conversation with Clayton)
Now that I know clayton is on his way I can relax a little and try to stall this ritual for as long as I can. I'm currently in one of the rooms in the castle been dressed like a freaking bride . Sebastian gave strict orders to dress me in this wine red victorian dress and that I should be decked up but once I'm able to turn and let lunala out this dress will be ripped to shreds along with Sebastian himself. I get escorted back to the ballroom where I see Sebastian and his now dressed in a suit that matches my dress
"This feels more like a damn wedding "
"Right you are my dear , see this blood ritual is like a vampire wedding . It's quite simple really , all that needs to be done is you and I drinking each other's blood and once that's done we shall become one and no one can break that not even your mate"
No no no , I can't let this happen . The only person I shall be bonded with is Clayton
'Clayton hurry up , he wants to go through with a blood ritual '
'That son of a b***h . Hold on love we're almost there '
Before I can reply Sebastian grabs ahold of me and before I can push him away he sinks his fangs in and at that very moment Clayton burts in through the window in his wolf form.
