"So...you're teaching Millie how to skate?" I break the silence, avoiding eye contact.
"Yeah, she wanted to so..." Louis answers.
"Who's that?" he turns to Eric.
"Her cousin," Millie says after I open my mouth to answer.
"Now ask her how she's doing." She demanded, pushing Louis beside me as she grabs Eric's arm.
"Come on, kid!"
"While you two are at it, I'm taking this kid on a date." She says, leaving the two of us alone.
"I might as well ask it then." Louis chuckles. "How have you been doing?"
"Oh." I paused with a slight chuckle, sliding a strand of my hair behind the ear. "Great."
"I'm doing great."
"You...?" I try to make the conversation longer.
"Likewise." He answers shortly.
"Do you wanna get some tea?"
"Uhm..." I think. "I need to go find Eric. He's new here."
"I understand." Louis sighs. "I better go too."
I look around the park to find Eric. But then I halt as I saw him having fun with Millie anyway.
Their sharing an ice cream cone. So cute.
Which means I only have one thing to do.
"Are you guys free today?"
"Of course we are!" Toni yells in a nearby tea shop.
I called both Lucas and Toni for some tea. I missed them. Both of them, honestly.
We're like the best trio you know?
"So have you seen...?" Toni hints.
"Yes, I have."
"Are you guys back together?" Lucas asked, excitedly.
"No...!"
"So..." Toni continues.
"There's nothing!"
"Can we please stop talking about my love life?"
"No, we cannot," Toni says.
"And that is why we're building you a new one," Lucas adds.
"A new what? Relationship?"
"Guys, I just got out of one."
"That was a year ago." I give Lucas a look.
"Unless you haven't moved on."
"Fine!"
I know, I know. I said I would learn to love myself first. But I guess it is time. I know having a boyfriend isn't a top priority but still, your girl's gotta move on faster.
The whole "dramatic breakup montage" is done for me. I should be over it by now. It's been a year, how could I possibly still fall for him?
