Chapter 14

Earth curses when he sees Mix walks away, he excuses himself from the business men there and goes to chase Mix. On his way, he bumped to Podd and Khao

"Oh Phi Earth, happy birthday!" Khao greets him happily. Earth glares at him and both Podd and Khao are shocks with the reaction

"What are you doing here?" he grits his teeth at Khao. Podd immediately pushes Khao behind him and confronts his brother

"What is your problem? He is here because I invite him and this is your birthday party, of course he is here like the usual."

Earth pushes him harshly "Then why is his mother here?!"

Podd grits his teeth, not understanding why his brother decided to be rude to his fiancé and his mother

"Okay what is your problem?! Mom invited Aunt. So of course, she is here. They are best friend. What is wrong with you!!" Podd shouts back softly.

Earth growls "Mix was here."

Both of them become pale.

"Phi Mix?" Khao says sacredly

Earth pushes his hair back "He saw you and your mother just now and then he run away. So I am sorry for scaring you, but now I need to look for him. I need to explain all these things to him." Earth says to both of them before runs out of the room. 

Khao feels his legs weaken and luckily Podd is with him, Podd immediately holds him when his knees buckle up. Khao hugs him

"Pa, it's over. He found out about me, I am sure that he will hate and don't want to see me again after this."

Meanwhile, Earth is running out of the ballroom and searches for Mix's at the hotel's lobby but he cannot find him. Then he bumps into his driver, so he asked him if he saw Mix. The driver immediately replies back

"I saw him just now. I asked him where he was going then he said he wanted to go home. I offered to bring him home but he declined, sir? Is there any problems, sir?"

Earth sighs loudly and thanks the driver before runs to his car. He starts the car and drives out of the hotel, hoping that he can still find Mix near the hotel because he is so sure that Mix will not be far if he decided to walk home. He can just hope that he will find Mix because he has a lot to explain to Mix, he doesn't to lose Mix. He cannot lose Mix.

Mix walks aimlessly, he doesn't aware where he is going, his mind is blank after he found out the truth. How can Earth lie to him like that? The three of them, Earth, Khao and Podd deceived him and make him like a fool. The truth hurts more because he never thought his mate will be one of the accomplices that deceived him about his father's family. He can feel tears threaten to come out when he thinks about Khao. He started to think Khao as his brother but then... Mix chuckles, how ironic is this life. Is the fate playing with him? Why did bad things keep happened to him?

Then the fate decided to torture him more because suddenly it is raining cat and dog. Mix stops walking while the other people are frantically searching for shelter from the rain. Mix looks up to the black night sky, the rains drop on his face and body, making them wet and he can fell the cold through his body. Then he shouts at the sky,

"WHAT DO YOU WANT MORE?!!!! ISN'T IT ENOUGH THAT YOU TOOK AWAY MY MOTHER, DESTROYED MY FAMILY AND NOW WHAT!!! IS THIS THE WAY FOR YOU TO SAY THAT I DON'T DESERVED TO BE LOVED?!! JUST TAKE MY LIFE IF YOU REALLY HATE ME YOU DUMB JERKS?!!! I HATE LIVING LIKE THIS!! I AM TIRED!!!NO ONE IN THIS WORLD LOVE ME!!! JUST KILL ME THEN!!"

After that shouts, he takes a breath, all of his anger, sadness and betrayal come out along with the words just now. Then, he kneels down on the roadside, his hands are covering his face. He cried, he just lets out all of his tears, does not care about the glances that he gets from passer-by.
