Amie's Pov:

I'm moving back in with my mom, brother, and grandma today after living with my aunt for a couple of months. They moved a 5 months ago, and didn't want me to be suffering from all the move stress so my aunt let me stay with her until they settled.

" muchas gracias tía por todo que eso por mi," (thanks aunt for everything you've done for me.) i tell my aunt

" no hay problema mija, tu eres otra hija para mi!" ( there's no problem, you're another daughter to me!) she tells me and then hugs me. I hug her back and then hug my cousins and get in my car to drive to my new home.

It took me 3 hours to get there, thankfully i listened to my playlist the whole time and managed to not get bored. I also ate a lot of snacks oops.

When I got there only my grandma was there,

"Amie! oh how i've missed you!" she says pulling me into a hug.

"abuela!" i say and hug her as well, "i've missed you so so much!" i say.

"us too, we were so bored with miguel!" she says laughing.

"where is he?" i ask

" hes probably practicing his karate," she says smiling

"karate?? that lazy kid is doing karate??" i say with disbelief

"yes, ever since we got here he's been training." she tells me

" i cannot believe it" i say shaking my head. I finish unpacking my room, and then start organizing it as well. By the time Miguel got home my room was ready.

"hello grandma!" he says really loudly

"hola mijo," she replies to him

" did amie come today?" he asks

"no she felt sick so she's coming tomorrow," she tells him.

"aw man," he says sadly, and sits down. i walk out my room quietly and then hug him from behind.

"so karate huh?" i say

"oh my god amie!" he says getting up and hugging me. "jesus christ i've been so bored without you!" he says

"i know it's because i'm the better twin," i say giggling.

"yeah sure whatever, also grandma how dare you lie to me," he says laughing

"it was her idea" she says serving us food.

he gives me a death stare, "rude of youuu" he says and i just laugh. I sit down next to him and start eating with them.

"hows it going?" i ask him

"good, i started going to cobra kai, and i'm one of the best in the class. our neighbor is actually my sensei" he says

"sensei?" i ask him

"yup, sensei lawrence," he says

weird... who calls someone sensei....

"well you're having fun right?" i ask and he nods and smiles.

"good. glad to hear." i say smiling.

"you're so lucky you get to start school in the new year and not in the middle." he tells me

"oh please, i did the same when i lived with aunt rosie." i say

"how is she?" he asks

"she's great, she's doing a lot better now too." i tell him.

"good," our grandma says

"well tomorrow you're going to meet my friends, don't care if you don't want too."
miguel tells me

"ugh fine," i say sarcastically

We both go to his room to play video games after we are done eating and my mom didn't come on time so we slept without seeing her. Apparently this is normal now, back then she would've come home so early.

The next morning, i wake up early because i'm going wuth miguel to meet his friends. I wear a cute white crop top, and some black shorts because it's so hot today. I do some natural makeup and go and eat the breakfast my grandma made.

"wow you look so beautiful," says my mom who i hadn't noticed was here

"mama!" i say and hug her

"hey sweetie, how was your first night here?" she asks

"it was great." i tell her smiling

"good good," she says smiling, "you cut your hair?" she asks

"yes! isn't it cute?" i tell her and she nods

"very cute"

"goodmorning ladies" miguel says walking to us and sitting down to eat as well.

"morning mijo," says our mom

"morning sleepy," i say to him

"mom i'm taking amie out today to meet some friends," miguel tells our mom

"great thanks," says our mom, "well i have to head out now. you two behave and take care of each other. love you all," she says kissing our head and then hugging our grandma.

"okay well i think we are going to the beach too so get yourself a bathing suit" miguel tells me

"okay i guess." i say and wash to the sink to wash my dish and then go to my room to find a bathing suit.

"ready?" miguel asked and i nodded and got into the car.
