Chapter 10

"See, I told you this place is great." Brian says the minute they enter the cozy bar. "And they serve great food."

"Ehrm, Brian. When did you go here without us?" May asks with one eyebrow raised in question.

"Last night. I couldn't sleep and I craved a snack." He says with a shrug.

"And here's a free table." Seth says and sits down.

"Seth, there's not nearly enough space for all of us at this table." May says and pouts.

"It's the only one that's free and we can take turns sitting down until another one clears." Seth shrugs casually. "Come sit on my lap." He winks at April.

"Sure." She says and climbs on his lap.

"I thought you two agreed not to touch each other again because it ends with sex?" Paul asks and laughs loudly so a few customers turn to look at him with curiosity written all over their faces.

"Sex is great." April says casually.

"I must agree." Seth adds and winks to April who smiles flirtatiously.

"Just let them have sex. The only annoying thing about these two is the fact that they don't wanna realise what a great couple they make." June says with a shrug.

"Look, who's talking." April says teasingly.

Somehow they succeed in sitting 8 people down at a table for 6 people.

The waitress is laughing when she sees it "If only all customers were like you guys. We'd be able to serve 33% more than normally. The first round is on the house for making my day better like this."

"Then first round is tequila shots." June says quickly before anyone else have time to open their mouth.

"And second round is 2 bottles of red wine, 1 bottle of white and 8 beers." May adds.

"And third round is..." Brian begins but they all yell "NOO! Just decide what beers we're having Brian!"

Brian orders 8 different beers that none of the others have ever heard of. "Brian, you're suck a beer geek. I love it. We always get the best beers when you order." July says and smiles.

"Thanks, babe." He smiles back and then says. "I have a little confession. I've invited someone to join us later. I hope it's okay. And no, June, it's not your boyfriend. It's someone I met last night. He was pretty cool so we exchanged numbers. He's gonna bring a group of friends over here in an hour or so."

"Oh my god." April squeals. "That's SO cool! i can't wait to meet this guy. What's his name? How old is he? Where is he from? Do I....."

"APRIL!" Seth interrupts laughingly. "Let Brian answer one question before you ask five more."

April laughs "Sorry. I'm just so excited."

"If I tell you who he is you won't have to ask anymore questions because you know who he is, so let's just wait until he gets here." Brian says with a wink.

"Now I can't wait!" April squeals again.

The tequilas arrive so now it's June who's squealing so hard that she's almost pushing everyone else out of their seats.

"Love, we know that you absolutely adore and love tequila. But you act like Matt just proposed to you or something." Brian laughs.

"Don't care." June reaches for two tequilas.

"No, babe. Just one for each of us."

"But I want two. Pleeeaaseeee!" She looks at each of them in turn and sends them puppy eyes.

"You can as always have mine, love." Brian says and kisses her on the cheek.

"Yaaaiii! Thanks! I love you!" She squeals.

"Brian, stop using cheap tricks to get her to love you the most. It's not fair." July pouts.

Everyone laughs and people turn to look at them with curiosity written all over their faces.

"Sorry, our friend here loves tequila as much as she loves life." Brian says with a grin and points to June.

That comment is received with laughter and big smiles all over the bar.

A minute later a guy comes over to the table to talk to June. His name is Jude and they seem to share a mutual love for tequila. June talks to the guy for half an hour without realising that he flirting with her.

At some point June hears a gasp behind her and she looks over the Jude's shoulder.

"OH MY GOD!" She yells without thinking. She clasps both hands over her mouth and apologises to Jude whose ear she just yelled into.

"What the-" She begins to say but the man she just yelled over seeing holds out a hand "I'm betting a million bucks that you're June." He says.

"Oh my god, YES! And you're Matt Bomer." She answers and shakes his hand enthusiastically.

"I am. I hear we have mutual friends." He waves to Brian who says "Hey man. Good to see you again."

"I'm gonna faint." April whispers.

"I got you, babe. If I don't faint too. This is so cool!" Seth whispers back.

"Did you just say mutual friends? You know more of my friends who are currently in town?" June looks confused.

"I do. I'll tell you later who it is." Matt says to her and then June says "Excuse me for a moment. I have to find the waitress. Now we really need a bigger table. How many friends do you have that's arriving later, Matt?"

"Four." He says laughingly. "But let's go to another bar. My friends are there and they have a table for all of us."

They all get up. "It was nice talking to a fellow tequila-lover, Jude. Have a nice night." June says and leaves the bar before he can answer.

"Sorry, Jude." Matt says with a shrug. "She's taken."

Brian looks confused at him. "I know her boyfriend. But don't tell her or your other friends that. It's supposed to be a surprise."

"Aah, you're on the Matt and June ship too? Cool. Did it just sound like it's you I'm shipping her with?" Brian laughs loudly.

"A bit, mate. But we can't help that we share our first name. Come on lovely ladies and gentlemen." Matt turns to the door and they all leave and head to a bar a few blocks away."

They have seats in the VIP section. "If I go outside of this area you won't see me anymore tonight. So it's not because I'm not okay being with non-VIP's. Wow, I sound like an idiot but I don't know how else to put it. I can't leave the VIP area without drowning in fans. I love them but I really need a night with you guys since I'm hoping we can become friends. Brian's really cool. My husband loves him already. I keep telling him we can't adopt Brian." Matt winks at Brian and they both laugh and Brian says "And here he comes. Hi Simon."

"Hi Brian." Simon says and hugs him heartily before waving to the others. "Follow me. There's a more quiet area where we can actually hear each other. And it also holds a surprise for you, June." He points to June.

"What's up with everyone knowing my name? I feel famous." She blushes deeply.

Simon smiles sweetly. "It's because Brian told us all of these great things about you last night and we found out that we share a common friend. It's a very cute story."

"So he didn't mention us guys?" April pouts.

"He did but we mostly talked about June because of us having a friend in common with her." Simon smiles friendly at April. "I know your name too, April."

April lights up from him using her name without her having to tell it to him. "I feel famous too now."
